That was probably the last straw.

i watched most of the Clippers-Wolves game last night

it seems like i say this periodically, but the Wolves are going to be a very exciting team in the next few years. hell, they already are despite being the 3rd worst team in the league

Wiggins has already improved dramatically this season. there is no doubt he's going to blossom into a superstar, and i really think when we look back on their respective careers he's going to be better than Love

Dieng did get manhandled a few times by Jordan but who hasn't...i wish he'd improve his offensive game a bit, but he's a very solid rebounder and shot blocker.

Lavine is really a wildcard....he is insanely fast but he reminds me of old John Wall, running at breakneck speed but then throwing up a wild shot or turning it over. he had a few spectacular dunks last night and hit a few 3's too. i'm not sure if they plan on playing him at 1 or 2, and his 2 big issues seem to be shooting and ball handling, so we'll see

i'm finally accepting Rubio for who he is, and he actually had a solid shooting night last night, but i think they can win with him being just distributor

and they have a solid chance at getting the #1 pick this year too . i also like that they brought Garnett back to mentor the younger players...while I think he's a grade A douchebag at this point in his career, you can't really argue with his work ethic and energy and i think that's rubbing off on the younger players

LeBron may be having second thoughts about his trade.

Do you think they would try to bring back Garnett next year if KG was willing to return? It seems like he would be a great player/"coach"

yea i think that would be a really good idea

he's going to stick around one way or the other, as he apparently has interest in being an owner

the few games i've seen him back in Minnesota he does look rejuvenated...i'm not saying something foolish like he's going to average 20 and 10, but i think he could certainly be a solid backup for 1 more year

Portland comes back from 10 down to tie it up against the Clippers in LA. 87-87, Clips ball, 1 shot clock left.

Clips have a chance to win with about 3 seconds to go. Chris Paul drives and his bank layup rims out--right into Deandre Jordan's right hand, with nothing but air between Deandre and an easy dunk to win the game. Jordan stands there holding the ball in the air, mere inches from an easy put-back dunk while Chris Paul screams at him to dunk the ball and win the game. Jordan finally realizes what Paul's screaming about but time expires and the game goes to OT.

Where's Nicolas Batum from? Dude's doing the post-game interview and instead of thanking Jesus and/or his teammates or Holiday Inn Express he straight-up sucks his own dick: "I had a really good game" after they rattle his line (20 points / 7 boards / 8 assist). And then they set up the final 3 Batum hit in OT to ice the game and ask if he had any doubts about shooting in that spot (Blazers only up by 2, OT winding down). "Naw, I knew I was gonna shoot and make that shot. I hit it. It was a big shot."

The Magic have their own HOF?  And they induct someone every year? This is going to get pretty funny 5 years down the line from now.

Nick Anderson - OK, he was an original guy, decent career
Shaq - Obviously
Penny - Yep
Dennis Scott - Ok
Skiles?
T-Mac?
Dwight Howard? (They would have to wait till his career is over)

What would you even consider after that?

Quote:
Magic inducting Shaq into team HOF

ORLANDO, Fla. -- The Orlando Magic are inducting Shaquille O'Neal into the team's Hall of Fame.

The Magic announced O'Neal's addition Thursday. He will be honored on March 27 when the Magic host the Detroit Pistons. The perennial All-Star and No. 1 overall draft pick in 1992 becomes the third inductee into the Magic Hall. O'Neal joins Magic co-founder Pat Williams and the Magic's first-ever draft pick Nick Anderson, who made up the inaugural class in 2014.

O'Neal guided the Magic to their first NBA Finals appearance in 1995. He spent four seasons in Orlando before departing for Los Angeles in free agency in 1996.

The team's Hall of Fame was started to honor and celebrate players, coaches and executives who have had a major impact during its 26-year history.

Craig Sager relapse. Wtf, he was just cleared like a month ago.

TNT sideline reporter Craig Sager's leukemia returned last week, his son announced on Twitter on Sunday.

Sager, 63, was diagnosed with leukemia last April and missed almost a year of work to battle the disease. He returned to the sideline on March 5 after being cleared to go back to work.

Sager was scheduled to travel to Omaha, Neb., for the NCAA tournament earlier this month, but later announced that he would not be going after doctors suggested additional testing.

From his son's statement:

"[Sager] is battling his newest set of obstacles, but unlike the first time, when everything was new, there is a blueprint in place and all focus is on one checkpoint at a time. [Sager's] leukemia returned last week and he is undergoing treatment that will be much like this time last year when he got rounds of chemo and prepared his body for a bone marrow transplant.

Russell Westbrook got a T last night, which would have earned him a 1 game suspension in his team's next game. The Thunder are currently tied with New Orleans for the 8th spot, but they do not own the tiebreaker. The NBA rescinded the technical foul today, so now there's no suspension. ABC Bosses really do not want New Orleans in the playoffs. Very sad...

Here's a fun thought ...

Tim Duncan is so old ... how old is he? ... he's so old, he's played against the New York Knicks in the NBA Finals.

Runner up answer - he's so old, he's played against the Charlotte Hornets, the New Orleans Hornets, the Oklahoma City Hornets, the Charlotte Bobcats, the New Orleans Pelicans, and the Charlotte Hornets.
