if Annie's so good like they say-why doesn't she ever host solo? She can take care of the late-night heavy-breather crowd thats been dead since Julie left. For 6 figures a year she doesn't do much but 'Yes Mike You're Right Mike.' I bust my ass for less than half that and I work more than double her little 4 hours a day.

Why would you want to hear more of her?

she is an intelligent person, but that doesn't mean she is interesting or compelling and the very root of the problem is that she has nothing in common with a vast majority of the Score listeners.

She and her salary are a product of the Mike North driven station.

So, between the Sox and North it's about $5 million a year in costs! $5 mill! Do they really bring in more than $5M a year?

If they do bring that money in, how much more than $5M when WSCR Billing Rev is about $13M?

The Only symetry I see between these 2 shows is they are both bad radio deals.

I never liked her from day 1 on the show, so out of place.

It would be a little similar to Jill Urchek (sp) doing a weekend show (which she did, as a tryout): neither are very knowledgable about sports, and what the hell would you call her about, anyway?

Besides, I figure 5 shows a week is more than enough for anyone. Why would you want to work a weekend show, too (... Freddo)

You guys should lay off Annie a bit however. I did e-mail her and blasted her and the show. She actually responded kindly and apologized. You hear that Mitch?!?!? She hoped I'd not give up on the show and urged me to let her know what I thought and asked what kind of changes I'd like.

I felt bad for my immaturity and cried!

But anyway, She does seem okay but out of place.

When discussing Urlacher's tackles this weekend Annie said something about him having 3 or 4 on the Nathan Vashar return. If she cannot speak about the most basic of concepts regarding the most popular sport in this town, how can she continue to have a non news speaking role on this station? I have, for the most part, toned down my criticism of her because it appears that all parties involved in this situation seem to realize this is not the right fit. I wish she had the ability to just sit there and collect her check with proving her level of sports ignorance.

But excellent catch Dolphin, it is really embarassing to have her on the air talking sports and before that Keeping Score comes on, she made plenty of these mistakes when I listened.

She shouldn't be on a sports radio station. This morning, North was calling out Urlacher again for only getting credit for 6 tackles vs. SF. Annie, in her brilliance, says he tackled about 2 or 3 players alone on the Nathan Vasher return. North and Fred had to explain to her the definition of tackle....

I think that says it all...plus she's a socialist, and there' no room for that.
