theyre league mandated. rose did what the nba wanted, and hes always done what adidas has asked. the bulls are nothing to him because he knows someone else would pay his checks if he asked. he does like his team, but he has very little relationship with thibs... however thibs keeps all his players at arms length and they obviously respect eachother so i doubt there is a problem there.

the guy says exactly what he thinks. he really is a simpleton. he didnt disrespect the bulls when asked about their timeline. he said he doesnt care about any timeline, not just the bulls timeline. he was told early on that listening to other people will make it hard to get out of a chair when your 50, and he will never forget that. he must believe in his heart the doctors are paid by the team who pays him, so they will always give the quickest timeline for recovery. and he is right.

but i do fear the one real problem, something that has been on all our minds since the 1st lagging recovery... he doesnt care enough to be mvp again. thats the real problem, because it is IMPOSSIBLE, flat out, 120%, completely fucking IMPOSSIBLE to play at a high level in the nba without caring. you have to have that killer instinct or you will fail, no matter what. there has never been a great nba player that really didnt give a shit about winning. there are no babe ruths. in basketball those gifted slugs are called eddy curry.

we will find out A LOT about this guy in the next few weeks. what we do know?-

-Rose had minor surgery. DOCTORS said 4-6 week recovery.
-Rose admitted today he feels better than he did going in. WE KNOW it was a successful surgery.
-Barring him falling over an alley cat on his way to his grandmas house stopping by the homeless shelter on the way to unscheduled practice, we know ANY OTHER FUCKING PLAYER ON THE PLANET would be back in time for playoffs.. even if he has to limp around the court.

Thats it. By april its 3 balls two stikes with the bases loaded. He either gives a shit or he doesnt, his words mean nothing becuase they are coming from siberian caves.

I agree with you JORR. I was just trying to answer your question as to why it is easy for people to hate on D-Rose. Look at Wood Vs Prior. People hated Prior and loved Wood when they where on the DL. Why? Because Wood was Mr. Cub Jr and Prior was a spoiled college grad in their eyes.

Agree with Ike as well. Look at Westbrook. This mother fucker comes back 2 days after face surgery and even after his knee surgeries he just continues to attack. The man is a beast.

Rose? Maybe 1 out of every 20 games he went all out. Now he's like "well when I feel right" I'll be out there. Guys like Jordan, Walter Payton, Dan Hampton, etc. would go threw a wall to play. Not "D" Rose.

Not to defend Rose but it is probably pretty natural. Even among pro athletes you know the killers versus the guys versus the relaxed. Guys like Jordan and Kobe you could probably have them play the way they did for a $100 bet. Middles of the road guys are trying and love it but are just playing. Then there are coasters that maybe never even loved ball but they were good at it. Lastly there are the Eddy Curry types.

For me, I would say it would be hard to do my job at 1,000% every day if I already had $200M in the bank. I have that feeling from Rose. He just isn't feeling it. The douche thing is to not just hang it up.

Having had this same surgery, and understanding how I felt better on the way home from the hospital than on the way there, I expect he'll be back on schedule or sooner. He is right, he is unsure of the exact timetable- look, the last repair was supposed to make it better and it never did. Something was always wrong inside his knee- some days go well, some don't. Now, years later, I don't even remember right away which knee it was. Hopefully, he'll be that way as well. But, the last experience proved to him that you never know until you know.

Rose isn't even on the bench tonight supporting his teammates. Gibson and Butler are.
