Four hockey games, one water park, and zero showers in three days. I like it, Dan.

Since Boers is late, this would be the perfect time to try out the Boers Soundboard for a while. No one would ever know he wasn't there.

I had to leave desk when he said it. What did Dan say after Spiegs told him to be a parent not a pal.

I think he said that's the only time he ever says "Yes" to everything his son asks for and they're otherwise pretty strict about bedtimes, etc.

Oh yeah. I was thinking they'd do all that at 5pm for some reason.

I'd be interested to hear what your kids think of this year's ToB entrants.

As a fan of Sbarro's, I agree.

Also, White Castle... Sometimes you're just in the mood for slimy garbage (should be their slogan). You know it's disgusting, but it just hits the spot.

Dan has a good point about DePaul chasing something impossible with college basketball interest dropping the way it has.

Has there been a significant drop in TV ratings and/or attendance for college basketball?

Yes and yes, according to Dan.

I had been under the impression that passion for individual teams has never been higher, but general interest is so splintered that there are fewer casual fans at games, and fewer fans at home watching games that don't concern them.

Has besides Dan, who thinks college sports in general are stupid (unless the school gives him free tickets and his kid a free jersey, in which case both the school and the event are quite magnificent), said that?

Are there PEER. REVIEWED. STUDIES. to back up this assertion?

In Chicago maybe since Jordan but in towns all over I see packed arenas for college games.

Yeah we have evolved BetnStine crusading for women's rights today. Any word on if Shannon Ryan's byline pic is hot or should she find a better one ?

Dan's gotta be careful about reading emails that say it's inappropriate to comment on women's appearances at sporting events. Didn't he lust over some NFL draftee's mom? and how many times has he said "she's got some big ol' boobies on HER, doesn't she" or something to that effect?
