I hope Bernstein enjoyed all the domestic violence spots that included tournament hero Bryce Alford and his genius coach living the good life!

I liked in transition when Terry said he has an NBA guy who said there's nothing Frank Kaminsky doesn't do well. Of course racist Goff started saying "besides run and jump..." since he's white, and they all laughed. Then Danny said he actually liked Kaminsky's game and thought he would be a lottery pick to which Terry replied yeah he was just saying he wasn't top 10 but may be a lottery pick. Considering there are like 14 lottery picks I thought that statement was funny. So Terry says Kaminsky will go somewhere between pick #11 and #14.

So much dumb in that studio/Terry's home office.

they just called Pau a bumslayer and that Noah should start over him.

This despite that last year they were calling Noah a...bumslayer.

Boers saying he has an NBA guy has to be the most laughable thing of the day.

It wouldn't be March without the standard "I'm watching a lot of NCAA basketball, but it is bad and I'm just doing it to scout NBA talent" call that gets eaten up by Bernstein.

I can't think of a more miserable way to "enjoy" a sporting event.

Right. I think the NBA is terrible, but I almost never watch it and I don't go around talking about how much it sucks constantly.

that is funny.... instead of calling every big a bumslayer.... can they identify who, when guarded by an above average defender, can still score at will in the post? I cant imagine that is a long list.

I prefer college but I think the NBA is fine. I'm not watching the NBA saying "I'm just watching to see what my favorite college players are doing these days but the NBA is bad".

If you spent a lot of time watching college basketball last weekend you don't think college basketball is bad.

Yet you go out of your way to be Derrick Rose's #1 supporter.

That's the problem, man. How many guys who project to be a good NBA player, completely suck as professionals? Just enjoy the damn basketball in front of you. Worry about the NBA talent once it's in the NBA. Dan thinks he's a god damn basketball scout.

All that scouting of Doug McDermott seems to have paid off!

I can't remember his name, and had never heard of him before, but there was a guy on 670 last night when it switched over to CBS SportsRadio who said that there is only one reason why anyone would say they prefer college basketball over the NBA, and anyone who with an IQ over 80 knows what it is and he won't even get into it on his show.

I'm assuming he thinks they're racist, but I didn't stick around to find out if it ever came up again and changed the station after he said that.

I prefer the NBA, but not a big basketball fan generally. However, I just consumed way too much basketball the last four days. You'd be hard pressed to consider yourself a serious sports fan if you didn't enjoy the NCAA Tourney.

I don't really care about Rose or what he does. I guess if I have an NBA team it would be the Bulls. I just think it's bullshit to bash a guy because he had the temerity to get hurt. And to say that he "doesn't want" to play the way he did before the injuries sounds real fuckin' stupid.

And I would agree with that. I think you lumped me in with others on here. My issues with him are the extracurricular bullshit.

My point is just that if he were piling up MVPs and winning titles nobody would care about the stupid shit he says. He's never been a genius. He couldn't score enough on the ACT to get in to Memphis. But what he says isn't affecting his play. His brother isn't affecting his play. His knees are affecting his play. That's it. He will probably never be the same again. It happens in sports all the time. There's no sense in railing about it.

It would be like constantly bashing Kerry Wood because his wife was more concerned with charity and his lifetime contract in a drawer and that caused him to be unable to duplicate the best game ever pitched. Imagine if bernstein was on the radio every day saying, "Kerry Wood doesn't want to strike out twenty again." Everyone would think he was an idiot. And they should when it comes to Rose too.

It's gambling. That's why it's watched.

As basketball, it's bad. Somehow simultaneously over-coached yet the players rarely know what the hell to do half the time. And when they do, they're (of course) relatively poorly skilled and talented compared to professionals.

Now, you could argue the NBA has similar competitiveness issue given the players are all skilled (better defense means 'worse offense', analogous to poor-shooting NCAA players), but when I say 'you could argue' I mostly mean 'BRick can come white night every NCAA issue on this board', and I'm just trying to cover my bases.

The 'scouting' is just an excuse to watch it at all, otherwise there'd be complaints that they're ignoring the sport. But mostly it's the a bracket. And the kids try harder than game 67 of the NBA season, I suppose. And it's usually a decent spectacle, which can be a method of entertainment irrespective of the quality of play. Hold on, another timeout for the ol' coach coming up, they're gonna talk this one over again...now here's a commercial how they're gonna be insurance salesman.

Screw you, my omission from the CSFMB bracket shows that like the actual article it's an overrated circle-jerk cowtowing to traditional powers!

So today the Sox segment was yeah their is a buzz and national respect for the Sox but let us bash Hawk. Right now we get a writer on and ask him how much he can blow the Cubs with us. There is your show review with respect to local baseball.
