Man, people must really, really not like Dan. The amount of people coming out of the woodwork to hold Dan's feet to the fire for a tossed off tweet about a sideline reporter's boobs is ridiculous.

Boy, if we can get citations for the wildebeests and Griner-breeding, the NABJ will really be upset. Dan stepped in it, badly.

I've always felt that anyone who criticizes Bernstein for being a "jerk" simply didn't comprehend that their own thoughts were most likely stupid, and most people aren't used to facing that reality. When it comes to sports thoughts, most thoughts / takes are stupid in general, so for someone to come to the public stage with the gall to call out the BS and beg for common sense and intelligence was always refreshing to me. The Boers and Bernstein show has been a part of my life since I was 16, and in many ways it helped me to develop the way I form critical thought and see the world in general. [!] B&B have been some of the loudest, most ardent voices for the rights of women and children in the realm of abuse and/or mistreatment. With all that said, it saddens me to see this exchange (these guys always sort of straddle the line between inappropriate and playful humor, but rarely if ever cross over into the creepy no-mans land that is drunk twitter). This could be the undoing of Bernstein in this city, and despite the thin-skinned who think this is a good thing, trust that it is not.

I think Maddox Boy is too old to have been 16 when he enrolled in B&B Critical Thinking Academy. I think he was a regular caller to HFC.

It makes sense when you consider how hard he goes against people. This is the reckoning.

At most he'll say sorry if I offended anybody, but he's not. I wonder what he's thinking or doing. Says a lot nobody is coming out to support him. I don't think Spiegel said anything of note.

would this be a bad time to point out that i used to have a quixotic quest where every now and then i'd go on brittney griner's wikipedia page and remove all instances of "she" and "her" to leave things a touch more ambiguous?

It absolutely is ridiculous. But he brought it on himself. When you try to make life miserable for gay people and then get caught soliciting sex in an airport bathroom, people will make sport of you. When you position yourself as a defender of women so indefatigable that you're even defending them from things they don't need to be defended from (say, for instance, showing their legs while ice skating), and then get caught saying "who cares if she can't talk, I like her big titties," people will make sport of you.

So, you're saying Dan shouldn't have called all the women in the WNBA who aren't that Della Donna girl wildebeests and said he wanted to breed Brittney Griner because all these Deadspin people might object?

He referred to NFL players as "animals". (This is when I stopped even angry listening to the show)
He later referred to WNBA players as "wildebeests"
He relishes in calling certain  athletes "stupid/lazy/ignorant" if they don't listen to his approved REALLY. SMART. PEOPLE.
Now he's made yet another crude joke about "them"

I'd love this prick & SQNEvents to get what they jointly deserve. (She can't have both ways, she's benefited from/enabled him as well despite what some say imo)

And then argue about CBS taking away his First Amendment rights.

H. Bruce must be so proud.

I don't believe this. Do you have a link to the topic on the day it was said. Otherwise, I would not believe for a second that Dan Bernstein at 670 the Score in Chicago advocated breeding African American basketball players.
