I say both will be well north of 30%, but can Javy keep the historic 40% pace he was on in the majors at AAA? Will Bryant, no slouch in the useless out department, step up to the plate and carry on Javy's proud legacy?

Like when Abreu sacrificed all of his power to only hit 10 HR in June to maintain his .313 average totally the same got it.

Or that he only hit seven home runs the entire rest of the year (the same as Alexei Ramirez and Starlin Castro [who didn't even play in September]) And only has one in the homer-friendly desert air.

edit: Sadly, Jose Altuve was two HR behind Abreu in the second half.

He actually hit 11 HR (nearly double what you claim) in Jul/Aug/Sep and cracked 17 XBH in the month of July which happens to be the month he hit .374. NOPE NO POWER THERE JUST A SLUGGING % OF .667 AND AN ISO .293 FOR THE MONTH. Wanna here something funny about a .667 slug% and .293 ISO? They would both have led the majors in their respective categories had they been season totals. The guy you said had to sacrifice power for average actually outslugged the planet while simultaneously having an Ichiro-like batting average.

Light hitting Abreu definitely had a good second half. He just isn't a very good home run hitter.

Maybe 2, but with all the young arms coming up from the minors, that will be difficult. P.Johnson and C.J. Edwards good for at least 1 each and then Kyle"Mad Dog" Hendricks is good for a couple. Maybe they should just hand out two each year in the NL.
