Don't worry no one will report on this the kids are coming of age. Perhaps "they can play?"

Wrigleyville looks nothing like it did even 10 years ago, much less 40 or 50. They're actually just fabricating an alternate reality and then using that nonsense to justify whatever they want. What balls.

No, its called "every other contractor in the City has to abide by the noise ordinances so the Cubs shouldn't get special treatment."

From what I heard, most Sox fans are closeted.

Maybe they can work until 2 AM, as long as the bars are open. The work makes less noise than the Bars do.

Biggie, are you the same guy that moves next to the airport and then complains of plane noise?

If you are there before the airport. You win.

I wonder if bernstein would be so blase' if he had contracted for a room addition and had a big seder planned at his house and the project was half finished and the contractor blamed the weather.

Yeah, blaming the weather is lame.

We know the unions were the problem.

If you were a Cubs fan instead of a Sox fan you'd probably talk less about the Cubs.

JORR likes to say Bernstein is really a cubs fan,...and I think he right. If you listen to, and look at his "body of work"....I think you can easily draw that conclusion. So using that as a basis,....I would say Jorr is really more of a "Cubs hater" than he is a Sox fan. I know, I'm stating the obvious. It comes off as jealousy, of what I'm not sure, or it's certainly a weird obsession. Whatever.

Go Cubs!

A half-constructed ballpark on opening day in my hometown is pretty big news regardless of one's rooting interest. I guess I'm jealous I won't need a hardhat when I attend the opener on April 10 at U.S. Cellular.

You're just jealous of how much we'll have to pay for shit -- I mean, you're just jealous of how much revenue we're going to generate.

Again, I missed something. Wasn't Wrigleyville itself supposed to be half the appeal of a Cubs game? everything about what a great neighborhood it is? But now we're saying that Clark Street is a terrible strip of dives and decay that needs the tender loving care that it can only get from Tom Ricketts and chain dining. I don't get it. I don't get anything anymore. Liking the Cubs used to be fun once.

Was it?

Is that due to ownership or the fact that you are now old enough to be aware of ownership?

I'm gonna like looking at the Culver's frozen custard race way more than a panorama of a city.

I was plenty aware of the faults of Tribune ownership: scalping their own tickets, the disconnectedness of the corporate structure, "being competitive within the division." But at least they didn't set out to lose hundreds and hundreds of games until we could pay to watch commercials on giant TVs.
