I advised you that you could perform your own research. You asked for one team; I gave you one team.

2012 Cubs

Opening day 14 players 11 pitchers that lasted for 4 days
From April 9 thru Aug 20.... 13 players and 12 pitchers
Aug 21-31 14 players 11 pitchers
137 days with 13 players and 12 pitchers
15 days with 14 players and 11 pitchers

I would say 137>15

Now do your research and show me a team after 2000 that went most of the season with 14/11.
Give me one any one.

Bryant 4-for-5 today but no home runs. Only 3 doubles. Hitting .459 on 37 ABs.

He should go to Iowa and work on his home runs.

Baez scratched from lineup. Herrera playing second. Bryant, through team spokesman, declined to talk to media after get sent out.

Well Theo did a splendid job pissing Bryant off. You knew he was going to get too cute with his little plan and alienate the clubhouse.

You are looking at this wrong. Theo is trying to create the fire and the passion in Bryant. Well done, Theo well done.

Totally understanding the real reason Bryant was sent down, but he should be on the roster. It's bad for the game and for the fans, that he's not there opening night. Russell should be on the roster as well. Much rather have Russell and Bryant on the roster, versus Olt, Alcantara, LaStella, and any other shit utility guys they shove down our throats.

For sure, they can sell the wanting to keep 3 catches and Castillo is 'insurance' angle all they want, but having 3 C's on the 25 is a terrible idea. Ross signing looks worse and worse, Lester would have adjusted.

Yeah, I don't see how you can carry three catchers for very long.

I don't see the Ross signing as bad. The Cubs needed a back-up catcher. Welington has proved he's an adequate starting C. You're not paying Montero $13M for the next 3 years to be a part-time guy.

The mistake is insisting on getting fair value for Castillo when you're in no position to demand such in the negotiation.

Ross has been by far the best catcher in camp for the Cubs this spring.

15 home dates so an average attendance of 14,828.

That's just 2,918 less than Cleveland had average in the regular season last year.

I'd wager it's better than the turnstile average at Jacob's.

Most importantly, it's a nice chunk in the David Price fund.

Cook county's favorite team averaged 20,896 last year.

INQUISITOR, for a supposed Cubs fan, you post WAY more about the White Sox than any Sox fan does about the Cubs.

I am glad you are able to celebrate your Spring Attendance Championship.

THE INQUISITOR has 661 posts. I would wager that about 550 of them are about the White Sox in some way, shape, or form. That is over 80% of his posts.

Just because his most active forum is the Cubs section, doesn't mean he is actually posting about the Cubs. Clearly evidenced by his recent post about.

That is not the point, IMU. You are completely missing it. INQUISITOR, percentage wise, posts more about the White Sox than any Sox fan post about the Cubs.

search.php?st=0&sk=t&sd=d&sr=posts&author_id=24&start=100
12 White Sox posts on that page.

Hardly. 47% compared to JORR's 45%. Don't make it seem so extreme.

A Cubs fan posting a Cubs topic in the Cubs subforum.

Isn't that the exact opposite of what we're discussing? Or did you lose track?

I'm not bigfan. Try harder.
