 Absolutely not. There are maybe, maybe five regular posters here who are objectionable and un-biased most of the time. That short list does not include you (or me). The vast majority of Cubs fans and Sox fans that post here are incredibly biased. That is not necessarily a good thing or a bad thing. Its just a plain and simple fact.

I think you have trouble separating the Cubs fans that are solely giving you the business from the Cubs fans that think Old Style is the end all, be all.

I'd love to discuss the depth of the Cincinnati Reds, Tampa Bay Rays, Arizona Diamondbacks, or Seattle Mariners. You name your most random baseball thoughts, and we can discuss them.

I was the guy that created the non-trolling White Sox thread. To discuss White Sox, separate from any Abreu power outage jokes. Separate from shots taken at the Cubs. White Sox fans cannot adhere to it. It didn't last long before White Sox fans, in a White Sox thread, in the White Sox section, brought up the Cubs.

As I've said before. There are 30 teams in baseball. 29 of them might as well be identical to me, the 30th is the Cubs. I don't care one way or another about the White Sox, besides the fact that they are an MLB team and I love the MLB.

White Sox fans though... graded on the whole...not good.

You go thru all that trouble, edit your post, and then just prove me right with your last line.

Commenting on a fan base has nothing to do with any comments made about baseball teams or the game. I'm very subjective when it comes to fan bases. White Sox fans have a napoleon complex. Atlanta fans are fair weather. Philadelphia fans are angry. Bears fans are homers. Cubs fans accept mediocrity. Raiders fans are rapists.

I only edited the post to add to it. I did not revise anything. Settle down skippy.

I don't believe those were there at the time of the list.

However, I'll move him to the obnoxious Cardinals fans list, but that would be a redundant list anyways.

Yeah. But he should have cared about money. Zell should have held it, done what Ricketts is doing and then sold it for 3 billion. Instead of the 900 million that he got. Because I think the Cubs will be worth 3 billion in 6 or 7 years. Right now they're worth at least 2 billion.

That's not what Zell does. He knows what he's doing, dont worry about him.

I think that's faulty thinking anyway. It's the same kind of thought that got all these goofs in trouble when they used their houses as credit cards and kept doing cash-out re-fis with the idea that the property would just keep appreciating. Sam Zell isn't a dummy.

These sports franchises have gotten to the point where they have to do so much business just to break even. They're not just going to keep going up, up, up. And if you're really trying to win, you're not going to turn any kind of significant profit. All the value is in the appreciation of the asset. But that ship has sailed. It's like a pyramid. The guys that made the money are guys like Steinbrenner and Reinsdorf who bought low. There just isn't room for the kind of exponential growth those guys enjoyed.

There would be at least three threads if this was Jerry cancelling the game at 3:00.

Games are canceled in the afternoon quite frequently.

I know a gambler like you knows that.

The Jerry thing was because it wasnt even going to rain. If you're saying there is bias against Jerry on this board, I agree, but yesterday was not like the Jerry thing (which was the correct decision at the time anyway)

I would think it's not out of the realm of possibility that they needed a way, any way at all, to buy themselves a little more time to avoid the PR disaster that unfolded on Sunday night. Now they've had another 24 hours and I assume at a least a slightly smaller crowd today than would have been there last night.

It really wasn't that bad last night, but it wasn't ideal.

Ive seen people saying there was no rain in the forecast.

At 1230 Weather.com was showing rain starting at 6. I know the time because a co-worker who is addicted to daily fantasy leagues was asking me if I thought they'd get the game in

Sosa's record day at Coors back in...2002? 2003? would be in jeopardy.

This is the essence of an IMU post. Priggish little Caller Bob, who refuses to own that he is a priggish little Caller Bob.

I don't think I would ever deny being priggish or sanctimonious.

And why wouldn't I be when I see the way you act? The way you speak. The way you cannot convey your thoughts or opinions in an intelligent manner. The way you sound like a child.

If I'm smug, it is because you give me reason to be. I see myself as above you. You are a pissant.

That being said, there are plenty of folks on my level or above it. You're just not one of them.

29 years and counting, fool.

I'm surprised you're not used to people calling you out for your antics. Maybe you're the one that acts differently on the message board.
