I see no rain scheduled for today.

None for the next week and a half.

Feel free to pee at Wrigley for a fee.

Deshaies just brought it up, and I have to agree. With just these few innings, Montero's pitch framing has been on display. I'll admit I never paid much attention to that ability before, but I'm looking for it this year.

Soler with the power and the speed. 1st and 3rd here with one out. Gotta get a run.

No doubt. Lynn is dealing today. The strikeout with Castro hurt.

I felt the frustration. That sinker is dazzling.

Coglan murdered that ball though. Just like the other night.

Arrietta is going to be significantly better than Lester this year. I don't like the Lester signing at all. I doubt he'll be much better than a .500 pitcher here.

Hopefully Arrieta and the bullpen can keep dealing as well. Cubs can squeak a run or two hopefully.

Somewhere Pasta perked up when he hit that liner. And now I see James Russell is back. I don't know how to feel about that.

Arrieta has been great today. Of course I'll probably jinx him now, but damn as of right now, "All praise Bosio."

Eh, I'm unfortunately rooting for the Cardinals today. Apologist said he's at today's game so I don't want anyone stabbed.

What if Laurence is at the game as well?

I think it is a smart move. I saw it was an MLB deal, which is surprising. (But he is going to AAA?) He is a decent bullpen arm.

I'd fear for Apologist's life.

Arrietta doesnt look that great today. Not sure if you're watching.

No reason to doubt Jon Lester, imo

He's getting the job done but not with the dominance of 2014.

Yeah, great was too much to say. He's been solid. Just got out of a jam right there.

Baez and Bryant aren't even on the team and the Cubs are going to have another double-digit strikeout game.

21 K's through two games, I believe. I think Theo mentioned getting off to a fast start.

The Lynn 'hit" is the difference and you could tell how bummed Soler was after playing the guy in like the 9th hitter on a little league team, he managed to tap it even weaker then imagined for a hit.

Pitching isnt the issue and wasnt last year.

of course facing sub 3.00 ERA guys could be an issue.

Still need to do better

I think the offense will break out big in Colorado this weekend.

Starlin, Starlin, Starlin. You break our hearts. Too many defensive miscues and let-downs.
