Based on this story, he deserves induction into the Douchebag Hall of Fame. Holy crap. I knew some of the stuff that was written about in SI, but I had no idea his wife died. Definitely worth the read. Very harrowing.

Hendry was a great judge of character, after one dinner.

Denisd, in the SI piece, I think it was Kevin Towers who says something to the effect, after signing Bradley, "We did our due diligence."

I read all that, and the one where he texted a video of sex with his wife to his father in law? Wow weird.

He ran out on his rent from a guy at $15K a month. The guy got the place rented again pretty quick, so he was out about $45K.

The guy was all excited when he got the Cubs $30 M man to sign a 3 year lease at $15K a month.

Then just heard some nasty stuff about dealing with him, pretty sure this is a clinical case, just too bad and too paranoid of a guy, not to have some issues.

Bruce Levine carried Hendry's water on the "changed man" story for about six months.

Did they interview Jim Hendry's barrel? I'm sure he has a story to tell after that rogering.

Quick Bruce Levine tangent, has anyone heard him bring his Saturday show to a grinding halt by berating his co-host for not introducing the star first when coming out of a break? He did it at the beginning of the show a couple of Saturdays ago. Bruce was like, "Uh, you did it wrong. That was the wrong intro. The star's name goes first." He said that literally 2 seconds into the show. Esposito didn't even know what the hell was going on. It was so fucking awkward because Bruce was being totally serious.

It was awesome. He's such a bitchy guy.

His paring with Randazzo had some good awkward moments. They're both cocky douchers. So they'd condescendingly address each other often.

is it as weird as Stone needing to Introduce Hawk like Elvis has enetred the building? I will be listening for Bruces "RESPECT" notes.

Way worse because Bruce is a nobody. While I can't stand Hawk now, he was good at one point. Loved the Wimpy years.

His wife is dead. I guess DCFS needs to move in, but I didn't see any allegations of child abuse.

Deej has to do the same thing for Farmer. It must be a Jerry thing.

I totally missed that in the story. What a nightmare for those kids.

This is very true...I remember this very well.
Not to turn this into a Levine DB nomination, but this is one of many examples of why Levine has zero credibility. I dislike him even more than Bernstein.
