I can't really speak to his actual broadcasts but he does not come off as anything close to that on the radio with B&B.

It feels like I can write his answers to every question. Spoiler Alert: Everything is great about everything.

When you are trying to sell something, which is what the media people do for a team....Always painting a great picture and smiling is exactly what you want.

I assum you have some type of marketing or salespeople, or do some sales calls? Do you or they walk in and start talking crap about your company or the others?

but on WSCR his role is baseball expert not Cub bandwagon leader.

Actually he is on to talk about the Cubs specifically, you have him mixed up with the guy who used to be on as a "baseball expert" and took the air time to rip his former employer who showed him the door....which he chose to walk out of....always remember, Stone was not fired, he left.

This is false. Its a Scoreheadesque statement, and written in a very Scoreheadesque way.

Since you are the self proclaimed expert, having watched "MLB Network constantly, you feel you have a good sense of play-by-play men from a ton of teams," why don't you give us the alternative.

Vin Scully would be next up. But he still bleeds Dodger Blue here and there.

Baltimore has an excellent booth with Thorne and Jim Palmer. I think Gary Thorne is pretty objective when I've heard him. Brian Anderson is decent in Milwaukee.

If you want to hear the opposite, listen to Victor Rojas, Thom Brennaman, Hawk, Jon Miller....

Kasper is very close to Thom Brennaman. If you don't see it, that is your problem.

Vin Scully is one of the best ever. Stop talking about him.

But he wasn't considered that after this first ten years.

Kasper and Brennaman are not similar in the least. You do not watch baseball telecasts besides the White Sox - I think this thread makes that fairly evident.

Find some folks that agree with you. Please find me maybe a list ranking broadcasters or something. I believe I can corroborate my statements. Can you?

Corroborate means support, by the way.

Maybe try some reputable sources. People that are possibly paid for their baseball opinions. If we could all cite random internet posters...well, I just don't feel comfortable citing "The INQUISITOR" as a source to you. I'm sure you wouldn't take the sourcing seriously, as well.

Peoria Matt is a fine citizen of our nation. But he is one man, with one opinion that possibly is formed without watching a series of other broadcast booths.

I agree with him. Very similar styles and voices. I hope this doesn't hurt my chances to join team CoC.

It does not. You're entitled to having faulty opinion. I'm used to interacting with folks with faulty opinions on score670.com/phpBB.

That being said, how the hell have you not been able to rebuild your Clan Castle? You started how long ago? It is only 40,000 gold...

 Len Kasper is paid by the Cubs for his opinions. All you cited was people you listen to. You aren't very reputable.

I would consider Cubs fans on this board a fairly reputable source for an opinion on a guy who calls Cubs games. The INQUISITOR is a Cubs fan, and obvious Sox fan troll. He would not be a good White Sox source. Peoria Matt, though he does not post much about the White Sox, is one of the most fair and objective baseball posters on this board. Kamps not quite as much, but he isn't the Sox hater that you claim not to be. RPB sometimes has the Cubs colored glasses on, but he can also talk way way way way more objectively about the White Sox than you ever could.

Its OK to disgree, IMU. You just don't have to go all Scorehead and proclaim yourself to be correct and dismiss everybody else's thoughts as garbage.

Kasper is pretty good in that he keeps up with modern baseball theory and has a cursory knowledge of pop culture. He's a little too vanilla sometimes and kind of a dweeb.

TV guys don't really matter to me much though. Radio guys is where the real broadcasters flaunt their skills.

My workers are slow. No fire and passion. I've been playing for a week. My gold only goes up to 25,000.

I tried to increase the hours, but the workers union said no and sent a hot air balloon to bomb my town. :x

I think you should be noticing the color guys and I think Jimmy needs to pick up his game if he will be part of the 'streams" and bigger money.

I have listened to all of them. MLB Network is on my TV 80% of the time I am home. I also watch most of the national broadcasts. You may not have known this...I'm quite the baseball fan.

I just selected a few of the top names, and a few of the cellar dwellers.

It's pretty obvious that any local PbP team is going to be homerish. They are. All of them. Generally they're hired by the team themselves or the network that the team owns/has deals with.
National Broadcast teams should have less to no homerisms, though Bucks shows from time to time

Of course Len is a cheerleader. Pat and Ed are homer cheerleaders.

The problem is waaay over the top homers. Ron Santo was really, really, really hard to listen to. Hawk is really, really hard to listen to.

The difference between Hawk and Santo is that I find that Hawk is straight up disrespectful to the other team. That is different from homerism. You can be a homer. Don't disrespect the other team or the game.

Deshais is brutal, and so is Coomer. Cant believe either of these goofs were hired. I really like both of the Cubs PBP guys.
