Schlitter was an average bullen guy last year, had one terrible outing in Sept v Tor, gave hiim a really bad 3 day run. Not saying he didnt have 1 bad outing a month, that was his pattern.

But the guy just got called up, not that he was down too long, but Az to Chicago, Drive to Iowa, go looking for your shitty apartment, probably just either rented a place or crashing an Bryants mini mansion in Iowa, still need to go buy the mattress, then get the call fly to Denver...and now get in there and pitch. Really not making an excuse for the guy overall, but I wouldnt have pitched him at all that day,

Obviously the best way out of a losing streak is putting a couple hitters on base intentionally because one of your guys got thrown at. It's called leadership. Unless it's called poor accuracy. Hard to tell the difference sometimes between awesome leadership and bad pitch command. I guess it's the same thing.
