Of course not. Abruptly walking out of an interview, after being pressed on a question, is much worse.

Probably not. But he's doing his best to run away from every position that may make me find him appealing.

There is some debate on what actually happened there.

Leftist sites are jumping up and down saying he left

Righties saying he didnt.

As usual, the truth is in the middle.

He said "one more question". He answered the question then when the guy tried to ask a second one, he left. Not exactly "walking out on an interview"

He's running for President, he is going to have to answer tough questions. And this isn't the first time that Rand ran away from a tough question.

He didnt run away, though.

They said one more question. He answered the question. Then the interview was over and CNN cut the lights to set up their interview.

And the lefty sites saying he ran away and that he turned off the lights (factually inaccurate) are just as irresponsible as sites like Breitbart and FoxNews .

Agree to disagree.

I guess you can agree to disagree on the websites.

But, he didnt cut the lights. CNN confirmed it was them. And those sites went along reporting it and here we are days later discussing it like it actually happened. I think that's irresponsible.

They cut the lights after he walked away.

Right because they said one more question. He answered the one more question and the reporter wanted to expound. Happens very frequently at the end of press conferences.

He didnt "run away" and it's irresponsible for news sources to say he did. He walked away after saying one more question and answering that question.

Rand Paul is crazy but this story is bullshit and its a good example of how the left can spin just like the right.

If this is front page news for weeks, or months, then i would agree with that assessment. This will die quickly, unlike benghazi, the birth certificate, etc.

I'd say walking away form an interviewer angrily by a potential candidate is less newsworthy than the murder of an ambassador, the first in over 30 years... not quite apples to apples.

I am talking about the never ending quest to pin it on obama or clinton. Two republican led committees found no wrong doing by the administration, but that hasn't killed the story. Rand Paul still clings to it.

Well, that makes Paul an ass then. Not sure we're talking about the media as a whole or "the right" as a whole.
Anyway, if someone dies, people want answers. They tend to blame the government or the people investigating.
Makes me thing of that whole TWA Flight 800 thing.

Are you referring to the Trey Gowdy committee hearings in this statement? That is ongoing and why the email thing is an issue.

I'm assuming that you are a Benghazi truther?

I am talking about the two Republican led House Intelligence Committee hearings, which found no wrong doing. And you can be sure it wasn't for a lack of looking.

Where there is no smoke, there is no fire, no matter how many times you (the royal you) scream fire. It's about time that the R's in Congress start doing something, other than focusing on gays, abortions, and trying to score political points by inventing scandals. You can't blame Harry Reid forever.

Too many quotes in there. No I am not a truther per se. I am however concerned that we ever get the truth on much from this administration. So I see the ambassador's death is no fault of the administration. For me, I still would like to see the truth about how the secretary ran state and so on during the period of that event. Trey is looking into that. And he does not strike me as some idiot but acts like the former prosecutor he is.

We know the truth. There was no wrongdoing by the administration. The people that led those hearings desperately wanted to find something to pin on Barry or Hillary, but they were not able to do so.

You blame Reid and Pelosi for everything, but I have never heard you criticize John Boehner. You may not like Reid and Pelosi, and it's obvious you don't, but they actually got some bills passed. Can you list some of Boehner's achievements, other than drinking, tanning, and failing to repeal the ACA?

This Congress has been in office for more than 100 days, and all they have accomplished is passing the dead on arrival Keystone Pipeline bill, which the President said he would veto.

Bush will continue to get the blame for starting two wars on false premises, and nearly destroying the economy. For all of the bellyaching you do about ISIS, you fail to understand that W created that mess too, by removing Saddam from power, creating a vacuum in an already unstable region.

Dickie Dunn wrote that, it's gotta be true!

Well, if Trey Gowdy is investigating it. I could investigate the possibility that the sun may rise in the west tomorrow, or whether or not the Easter Bunny is real.

Two Republican led House Intelligence Committee investigations did that. The people that wanted to pin this on Hillary tried, and couldn't do it. And you clearly want to see something pinned on her, just like they did.

If you can't see how ridiculous all of this is, then you have been watching FOX for far too long.
