I hope this goes well, this is a great opportunity for this show to gather in some listeners.

Well that Dennis Quaid clip was interesting. His band played at the Itasca fireworks show a decade or so ago. Kinda weird.

Funny to hear some of these pretentious actors not putting on their pretty face. It was quite a clip.

I was not too blown away by the first interview. I'd like to give them a little time to build a relationship. Maddon doesn't know
who these boobs are.

I am sure the "boobs" will be blowing Maddon on today's show after the comeback wins.

Are they just boobs or giant boobs? Apparently, this makes a difference with some Score personnel.

Anything interesting come of this interview or did Grimace just ask if Joe works out?

Agree.

It got better once they got off the sccripted stuff. Think an extended initial on air meeting would have been a good way to kick it off one time?

Did like the fact Jason had to wake up at 5 AM to watch the game so he knew what he was talking about.

It warmed up later, as I think Madden was just waiting for them to ask the questions at first then starting adding to it.

let me just add, mac would have starrred in this role and becoming "a friend ' to Madden,

SHOTS FIRED!

Apparently Goff actually taking the time t watch sports is more than others on the station do. We know Terry often doesn't watch, but I assume this is also targeting Mac. I thought he just didn't watch basketball, right?

Spiegs also with a shot at Mac, saying he isnt used to partners who watch the games.

Yeah it became a bit more relaxed near the end but by that time it was a bit of a wasted experiment. I agree that it would have
been good to have the guys meet ahead of time, have him in studio or do a remote and have the manager sit with them near
Wrigley somewhere. Maybe down the road.

It was okay . Agree that Mac with Maddon would have been great. I liked hearing Goff straight-up ask Maddon about the disagreement on the Baez situation. No reason to think this won't get better after a few weeks.

That's great, but that would make 2 people who would not know anything about Cubs baseball.

 This caller said his son was a Score intern a few years ago, and apparently Goff was the only decent guy. Apparently the intern worked for "Dumb and Dumber."

What did he say? I hope it was something cool like "Freehold".

I think it will get better over time. It's good now, but if there is a minor complaint (very minor), it's that I think they try too hard to show Maddon how much they know the game. Then again, I would probably do the same if I were in that position.
