I'm still not a believer that this is a playoff team.

BUT

It's a really nice feeling when the game is tied 6-6 thinking that the Cubs are somehow going to win.

It's been a long time since I've had any optimism.

No they're not.

The last time the Cubs were 2 games over .500, Cutler was making his 4th start as Bears, the Blackhawks had not won a cup since the 60s, and Derrick Rose was yet to miss a game due to injury for the Chicago Bulls.

Its a nice start for a team that has been dreadful in April since 2009, but pump the brakes a bit here. A mere 1/27 of the season has been played thus far.

I havent made any comments on the White sox rocky start and I even offered to let you use my cable service to watch the 05 thing.

Its 6 games. I know its been a while since the Cubs have been off to a good start, but its still 6 games. Now if the Sox have 8 wins at the end of April, yeah then its time for heads to roll. If the Cubs are in first place at the end of April, go ahead and get excited.

But to get too high or too low after 6 games is childish.
