Back to back late innings wins. That is a good sign.

Said it in chat, but normally I hate the April celebrations on the field. This felt different. A team that was losing with purpose now winning with purpose. You can tell they want it now. It's not predestined to be a losing team. Feels good to see for the first time since 2009.

What a win. I'd rather not need to win in comeback fashion...I like leading from the gate. But two comeback wins in a row...good to see. Don't lie down.

Those first 2 swings from Alcantara reminded me of Corey Patterson.

Went to last nights game as it was a beautiful night. Sat in 400s left side. The jumbotron is large but very much appreciated.

Quite a few close plays that were able to be replayed for the crowd to see. What a cool concept!

You knew Ricketts was full of shit when he said the Jumbotron would have tasteful ads. It's the same shit as every other ballpark.

Overall, the jumbotron is a great addition. More stats, replays, and even tells you pitch type the pitcher just tossed.

96% of pitches thrown in 2015 are cutters.

First place Cubs lineup:

Dexter Fowler, CF
Anthony Rizzo, 1B
Jorge Soler, RF
Chris Coghlan, LF
Starlin Castro, SS
Miguel Montero, C
Arismendy Alcantara, 2B
Jake Arrieta, P
Jonathan Herrera, 3B

Staying consistent with my sweep prediction the Cubbies take this one 6-0. The best pitcher in Chicago carries a no-no through 5.

A no no through 5 against the Reds would actually be regression for Arrieta.

Two of his three near-misses last season were against the Reds. 6.0 IP before the first hit in the summer, and then 7.1 IP before the first hit in a game late in the season.

Batting 8th will fuck him up.

He is the best starter currently in Chicago because Chris Sale plays on the road this week. 8)

Seemed to do fine batting 8th on April 8th.
