4/14 - Quintana v Carrasco. Quintana does very well against the Indians (no losses!) and even better at Progressive Field. Carrasco is also very good and may be considered the best pitcher on that team by the time the season is over. This would be a big early season win.

4/15 - Noesi v Bauer. The Sox like facing Bauer, he and Salazar are two of Abreu's favorite pitchers to whack around (sadly we miss Salazar this series). Everyone likes facing Noesi because there's good odds he'll walk half your lineup. Can the Yan Gomes-less (6-8 weeks) Tribe keep up in what could be a high scoring game?

He's good, but Kluber looks like he's picking up where he left off last year

A 3-2 road trip would be excellent for the Sox.

I just noticed that they have either swapped Danks and Noesi's spot in the rotation or had Danks skip a start. Two off days this week, so it is possible to run Samardzija-Sale-Quintana out there for the Detroit series. That would be nice.

I'm not buying all this Carrasco love. He's 28 years old and has one good half season. Do it again then do it again. Then do it again and I might buy in. Maybe

Naturally, Hawk once killed a guy with a come backer. Doesn't know his name though.

Swell guy, that Hawk.

Yea it was killed. He looks like he's gonna be OK, got him right on the jaw below the ear. Hate seeing that happen, I like Carrasco.

Showing the picture of Herb Score what ruined his career was a liner off Gil McDougalds bat which I was too young to remember...but did see him pitch with the Sox in '60/61 sorta flinched everytime a batter swung...hop this guy is okay

When it takes your hitters 10 pitches to actually swing expect an expanded strike zone.

If your hitters are getting 10 pitches they're pretty much not in the strike zone.

Hawk says equidistant several times a game. I really think he has no idea what that word means.

You don't watch much Indians baseball... this is how they operate. They take forever.

Wow Cleveland channeled their inner White Sox.

Quintana can't get a rhythm going. He's getting his first pitch strike but missing the corners.

So much for a 1-2-3 inning.

He was safe, but i wish ramirez would keep the tag down. Those sweep tags suck.
