I'm outside all the time douche. I didn't watch the entire season in one sitting.

Though if you did, still not terrible.

geez that was boring. Not a good sign when I find myself checking the internet out of boredom during the middle of the episode.

The first four episodes have been leaked online.

I don't think I'm going to be able to hold off checking them out. Probably try to do that this week.

I find this show very rewatchable anyway. I'll probably watch each episode 2 or 3 times as it is.

Hung out at my outside TV and got through the first 3 episodes (Apple TV is sweet), they are using the books as a suggestion and it is glorious.

Watched them all in an alternate world where that type of thing is legal. I felt each episode was better than the last. Great season so far.

Based on what I've seen, I could foresee them wrapping this up as soon as next year. 2 more seasons at most.

Also, appreciated the shoutout to Curious Hair.

the show is too big of a cash cow to wrap it up in 2 seasons, i would think. while that would probably be the smart thing, it wouldn't be the $$$ thing.

Agreed. But the hip thing for a hot series to do, Walking Dead excepted, is to call their own ending timeframe. I think GOT will tell HBO when they're done.

from what i recall, david chase didn't see "sopranos" being 6 seasons long...i think it was supposed to be 2-4. then HBO threw money at him, and it led to a very bloated series.

if this season is a disappointment and audiences drop, then 1-2 is very likely. if it's a hit, i could see another 3-4 seasons being produced.

I haven't watched ahead but expecting good things. Anyhow, I would tend to agree with Doc on this. I know that this is a very expensive show to make so while I am sure
HBO is making money they have what is reported to be a $6 million dollar budget per episode which is a lot more than any other cable show out there.

Don't cave! You'll regret watching ahead once you get done, for those 2 weeks you'll feel like you cheated yourself!

I did it.

They've gone away from the books. A lot.

this show is weird. theres people running around on horses killing people and theres this hot stark girl with a needle sword and her sister has jay cutler punchy face, then some 20 something chick with enough makeup on to make her look like 14 has these dragons that went through a teenager 'i hate you mom' phase but now maybe coming back to her boobs. all i know is i miss the original stark king, he was badass

I'm going to have to rewatch this week. I wasn't too excited about this one after the initial viewing. I'm glad that they are moving multiple
story lines along but none of them actually had much happen. I realize it is early in the season so I am being patient.

Loving the changes so far. Glad they decided that Bron was way too good a character to simply have him disappear from the story. Same goes with Breann to an extent....she was never forgotten but was instead reduced to wandering the countryside. At least now she has her story tied to Sansa and Littlefinger which should be interesting.

It appears that Sansa has gone full evil at this point? She doesn't seem too bothered about being tied to Littlefinger.

Looking forward to Bron and King Slayer's road trip.

Also, interesting to see Varys hanging with Tyrion. Are we going to see the prince and his knights or have they been cut from the story?

Also, I'm guessing lady stoneheart is not in the plans which is fine by me, I always found that to be a little too hokey for my liking.

I can answer some of this for you, but I don't want to spoil anything.

While I will always prefer the books, things are progressing well this season.

Still no spoilers from the books please.

Just want to clarify that since the show is going away from the books

The show has nothing to do with the books any longer. No storyline is the same.

The storyline at the Wall seems to be sticking to the books, but its been a few years since I read them so maybe I'm off a bit on that.

Other than that, no other story is even recognizable. Maybe Cersi's story, but we haven't seen that develop yet. Looks like her battles with the church will be starting up next week.
