Really nice bounce back from Arrieta after giving up 3 runs. That type of perseverance is why he's the best in the Chicago.

The Cubs are very fortunate to have such a stud on their roster.

For as many times as I've seen him interviewed I didn't know Pappas won 209 games. Pretty solid mlb pitcher .

Funny you mention him. Earlier in the broadcast Kasper was laughing at Montero kicking Alcantara after the game winning hit last night, and all I could think was "thank goodness Izturis wasn't out there to celebrate with them."

Two issues. One if your pitcher is ninth you don't have to PH. Second a PH should not strike out looking.

Great effort by the Cubs tonight to battle back and nearly beat the cockgobbler Chapman.

Arrieta is a bulldog. Infield defense didn't help him out much but he kept the Reds to 3 runs. Never gave up and spun a quality outing.

Castillo is such a weapon. Shit, he's the 3rd catcher on the Cubs but probably the 2nd best one in Chicago.

This team is really going places. They never give up and you can see the deadass effort of previous years are gone.
