That Mikey scene was one of the best in the series in my opinion. I really didn't see that scene turning out quite like that. I also enjoyed the
stare down between Raylan and Boon at the pizza place.

There are a lot of loose ends that need to be addressed next week. I have total faith in the writers of this show to allow Raylan to walk off into the sunset. I'm expecting a sizable body count along the way, but I really hope he lives.

It was a decent set up episode. I have no idea how long the finale will be but I have to believe it will be at least 90 minutes to pull this all together
correctly. From the previews it appears we will get that showdown between Raylan and the kid. I haven't read any spoilers or have any clue how
this is all going to end but certainly look forward to finding out.

Alan Sepinwall on Hitfix.com said the finale will be standard length.

I must be an idiot. I haven't thought they were slanting it that way at all. I know there have been references to it, but not once have I thought it was because Raylan was actually going to do it.

Interesting.

raylan has made it clear that he is going to find ava and protect her. there really isnt much reason to do that since she is completely fucked- shes either dead or in jail when someone finds her. so it does leave the idea open

Looked like it left a scratch this time or he was just flinching from the miraculous recovery he made from the Ava gunshot.

I think there is just too damn much to resolve in one regular-length episode. I am pretty fearful that they are really going to rush through a lot of stuff that needs to breathe.

I'll be curious to see what Wynn's plan is and who eventually ends up with the money. I suppose they need to recover it or Raylan is screwed if he even survives.

From tvguide.com

When Justified wraps its six-season run on Tuesday (10/9c, FX), you can bet that there will be a body count.

Although a final showdown between Raylan (Timothy Olyphant) and Boyd (Walton Goggins) is a given, viewers should also keep an eye on season-long villain Avery Markham (Sam Elliott) and his quick-triggered henchman Boon (Jonathan Tucker), both of whom add plenty of mayhem to the final hour.

Check out all this week's Mega Buzz scoop!

Multiple face-offs will result in several casualties, but you might be most surprised by how early in the episode some of those climactic moments come. But don't worry, the rest of the episode packs at least one major surprise that plays a significant role in where these characters' stories ultimately end.

Very satisfied. Glad Raylan lived. Nice twist for Ava and Boyd, too.

Pretty good finale. Thought Raylan was going to get shot in the park for sure. Glad to see him and Boyd both survive.

I need to ponder this ending.

I could go both ways.

And I need to ponder this ending.

I have mixed feelings about this. I left it initially hating how it all finished up but now that I have had some time to think I guess I can
live with it. Not sure how I would have wrapped it up personally. The Ava thing was a little odd. I could have seen Raylan with her in
the end but he loves his daughter too much.

He ended up with all the women.

I liked the finale. They were pretty obvious about it, but the whole show was about Raylan putting Boyd behind bars again. He did. He won, and he got out of there for good. I think he realized that all when he had a chance to kill Boyd and he didn't.

With the way it was setup, I think any death by Raylan or Boyd would have been too obvious and cliched.

I've never seen a single episode of this show, but Tim Olyphant is a frequent, and always hilarious, guest on Conan.
I liked him in Go, and liked Deadwood.
I have no idea why I never picked up on this show.
Is it on Netflix?

its a tv show. im not here to watch quirky endings. i wanted to see raylan say "you know boyd, i dont care if you pull or not" BAM headshot. then ava runs over to boyd crying and raylan blows her head off too. that would have been awesome.

It wasn't a quirky ending. In terms of story, Raylan not killing Boyd is much more compelling.

It's not (and that kind of damaged its popularity) but it's available for free on Amazon Prime.

He was on Conan Tuesday night and they were all drinking whiskey together. It was a pretty funny episode.

I liked the way it ended after all, it was a love story between Raylan and Boyd.
Much like the joker/batman you can't have one living without the other and it showed the total yin/yang of their lives. Raylan wore the white hat (literally for most of the show) and Boyd wore the black hat.

Plus, this way in a few years they can do a mini season about when Boyd gets out early because of his preaching and he goes after Raylan.
