I'm with you on that. Great album.

It's the last one i would consider good from Bruce.

I have no problem with Greetings.... I like the record personally. But if we're looking at his body of work objectively, we should recognize that it was recorded before Springsteen found his own voice. It comes off as a Dylan tribute record.

Yes Jorr. Also, annoying is in recent years he has wandered back to a Dylannesque nasally voice.

I like to re-add "The Fever" to The Wild, the Innocent, and the E Street Shuffle. Slots in well between "Kitty's Back" and "Wild Billy's Circus Story."

Toto is up there with the Hootie and the Blowfish and the Goo Goo Dolls. They're too proficient to hate. I'll give you that the whole session-musician thing may foster resentment, but I don't give a shit, personally. Let's be real: "I'll Supply The Love" and "Hold The Line" are better songs than anything the knob-twiddling trust fund babies of Animal Collective have ever written.

STEP ONE: ASK NICELY

STEP TWO: MAKE HIM AN IRRELEVANT JOKE

STEP THREE: LOGGINS

Anyway, I can't believe I forgot about Gogol Bordello. I actively hate everything I've ever heard by that rag-tag gang of Gypsy misfits. I like at least 1 AnCo song.
Tuneyards also blow chunks. So do Fitz and The Tantrums.

On a Greetings from Asbury Park note, man, I can't stop listening to "Lost in the Flood" these last few days. Top five Springsteen song, right?

I made it about halfway thru the video before I had to tap out.

Probably. I could understand why people don't like Wilco. Not me, though. I'm a bigfan. Just wanted to throw a little Wu his way.

Just something Noel said tongue in cheek,. Cheeky Manc.
Noel loves U2, and they love him back.

I know...but he's got a point. Keep the political stuff to around 90 seconds total per concert, and just play your songs.

Eddie Vedder had a stretch where he was terrible with this as well. Fortunately he has stopped most of the grandstanding at concerts unless he/Pearl Jam is playing at some sort of benefit.
