He's been striking out on change ups. Soriano and Sosa were gotten with sliders.

He doesn't have a swing anything like those two guys though. He's more Manny-ish with his swing

Anyway it's nice that he's playing third like Mike Schmidt

ok i'll just sleep easy knowing that i got the striking out low and away parts right, and well whether it's a change or a cutter (as len and jim diagnosed the 3rd strikeout as) whatever. when i see someone striking out on low and away stuff 3 times in a row i have soriano flashbacks.

Now that's 5 runs on 2 home runs following pretty bad ball calls with 2 outs and 2 strikes.

He should've got the call and been out of the inning, but I've seen enough of Schlitter. I know there are injuries right now, but damn, the guy isn't fooling anybody out there.

Now the pitcher still served up a long ball so that's on him. But just plain awful.

Yep doesn't give you an excuse to groove the next one. Get the fucking batter out. I almost schlit my pants when he threw that.

I don't mind an ump having a big zone or a tight zone if he's consistent but this dude is everywhere.

Shouldn't the ball be in play since it went off the fielders glove, and then got stuck in the vines?

Its actually a good thing there is nobody out there because the outfield would be littered with beer cups after these calls.
