I've really noticed over the last few games. Deshaies tries to engage Len is some comedic back and forth and nothing. Kasper just moves on to his next thought. Awkward to say the least.

As for Len approving Deshaies, was Jim his first choice or a fall back option? I imagine Sutcliffe doesn't want the schedule and you can't bring in Grace because of his past. I wanted Glanville but maybe Doug didn't want the Cub. Hell, I think Holly would be a better and more comfortable listen than Deshaies at this point.

Yeah, JD is getting worse. Maybe he and Len had a falling out. They sometimes sound like high school girls in their tension. Taking small shots at each other's attempt at a joke.
