This isn't a win/loss statement.
But you knew that.
Or if you didn't...

This team NEEDS a laugher like this. Lets hope it ends up no worse than about a 12-4 final.

No kidding, the offense needed to show they belong.

Just let Sale go 5 or 6 then let Drabek play it out. I still want to think they have something there and if you can find a 3rd righty when Petricka comes back (and is hopefully effective) it makes the bullpen very effective.

Are you drunk already? I know that was a rough Hawks game last night.

Yep. Even Drabek, Guerra, and Webb should be able to cover 12 outs with this kind of lead.

I lay a bet that even with a 6 to 9 run advantage Robin does a lefty-lefty matchup at some point though just because he does shit like that.

I believe Daniel "the Dukah from Padukah" Webb is in Charlotte so we wont see much of him. I've also given up on Guerra and would like to see him gone.

Romo has a winning record. He still is a loser, or more precisely, is not a winner.

So a guy being a loser isn't dependent upon him actually losing? Interesting.

Not exactly. Romo is a loser with a winning record because when it really matters he's not good. He doesn't handle the pressure. He doesn't win bigger games.
You can be a loser with an overall winning record. And you can be a winner with an overall losing record.
You know this. This isn't new or exotic.

Cutler is the more apt comparison no doubt.

BASEBALL

My take at the beginning of the series was that Game 1 would be the most important, that take was clearly wrong. Hopefully it doesnt rain and Quintana keeps pitching well.
