Explain to me the difference now between this and what the Cubs did with Bryant, I sit back and wait for your answer.

I'd bet my ass Jerry watched today's game and made a phone call. This is a shocker.

Pitcher-position player. Two different worlds. Rodon was/is ready.

Folks are wary of interacting with you in anyway. They may find themselves banned.

No difference - I never got the outrage on Bryant and I'm a Sox fan. I'd do the same thing in their shoes.

Any "outrage" was completely fabricated with the hopes of ribbing Cubs fans.

I just find it funny that Cub fans would cheer their best player going to Iowa.

22 weeks is greater than 12 days.

A concept that is simple, and has been repeated many times.

Baseball is just a bit too complicated of a sport for you. This is why it cannot be the most popular sport in America. Simpletons just don't get it.

Someone give JORR the WWE schedule. I think that may be more in line to his tastes.

Twelve days are real. 22 Weeks are theoretical. Anyway, that's a concern for executives. Not fans. Who knows where any of us will be in 2021.

It's typically the opposite. Executives rarely know where there'll be a year from now. The White Sox are in the minority where a job equals lifetime employment.

You guys seem to worry more about the 2021 Cubs than you do about your 2021 lives.

I'm hoping for and betting on alive and well. Just like I'm betting the decision to hold Kris Bryant back for those 12 days was the right decision for the strength of the organization.

Do you think you're a GM or something?

I'd be a superior GM to you.

You may be able to manage a park district baseball team.

I already have that under my baseball resume.

minor league player of the year with 500+ minor league at bats versus less than 50 innings of minor league pitching

Seems obvious to me

There is no real difference between Rodon's situation and Bryant's. There is a difference in perception, the Sox got a pass and the Cubs got raked through the coals.

Which is funny because the Sox are run like a Daley Administration with tons of neighborhood cronyism and patronage filling their staff while the Cubs are modern sport's shining example of lies-without-borders Washington-style image mocking. How is it the Cubs were saddled with the BAD OPTICS?

That's not true though. As I said, Bryant had dominated the minors for a full year and then dominated spring training. Rodon had limited minor league innings and obvious control issues in spring training. Nobody thinks Rodon is the Sox best pitcher right now. The Cubs obviously believe Bryant is their best player as evidenced by his immediate insertion into the clean-up spot.
