Every time I tune in (which isn't much due to my schadooly) it's mostly Pete and/or a commercial or song. Does my radio have a Mackeyfish Filter or something? :? :x

MacMurray makes me feel like I am in a Simpsons cartoon.

I think of the super proper and professional radio guy that Howard Stern and his gang teased relentlessly in Private Parts, every time I hear a JB update.

Gotta love Doug. He's the only one who doesn't know where the camera is. I'll give him a break. He looks drunk as hell.

Good God, OB looks like he's about to murder the guy taking the picture.

This isn't a word-for-word transcription, but this is the gist of it:

Dan: Doug wasn't the biggest linebacker in the NFL, but he was fast.
McMurray: Did Doug have big hands?
Dan: They were like Manhole covers. He had his hands around my throat on a couple of occasions when I raised his ire.
McMurray: Really?
Dan: Doug also had his hands around Dan Bernstein's throat one time.
McMurray: Nice!
Dan: Yeah, several of Bernstein's co-workers were upset with the people who broke that up.

IF nothing else, that photo shows that not one of those fine men could compete today at their position in the size/shape they were in then, and that their game was so much more about attitude/toughness.

Mac had plenty of thoughts on Facebook, everyone had a lot of nice things to say about Doug.

I remember being so excited to go there and drink all the chocolate milk I wanted and serve myself ice cream

Technically, Doug should not be in this scene. It takes place in Bears Training Camp 1965. Doug was drafted in 1966. Not a big deal, just saying.
