The show looks like it is on roids....might be even be too much machismo, but should result in some cools scenes.

Did I? Mostly. But I don't credit Wahlberg for that. They found four actors that worked extremely well together.

I cringed during Piven scenes.

The writing...the plots (lack of plots) were pretty garbage.

I am sure it will be similar, being Marky Mark is behind both, but Entourage was good early, then it just became a cameo filled endless story. You knew when things looked great, things would go bad and when shit was bad something good would happen. Figure with just as much sex and cameos

These two shows and True Detective premiere on June 21st. That's some pretty solid summer Sunday night programming there
based on the previews.

I'm only now getting around to the first season of True Detective. I love it, of course. I have reservations about anything with Vince Vaughn, though.

Vaughn is like Piven, not sure they ACT....Vaughn plays the fast talking slick guy decent guy in most movies. Gonna be hard to take him serious ini this role.

I started, but likely will not finish, Togetherness. Holy shit, I have no use for this. At least Girls feels like required viewing because of the cultural gravity of it. (I also like Zosia Mamet.) But this is one of those shows that's so prestigious that it doesn't get around to being funny. It's like mumblecore thirtysomething or some shit. What crap.

i keep having to remind myself that melanie lynskey is the younger, more homicidal maniac in "heavenly creatures". still can't believe that was 20 years ago.

I dont know about being excited, but would rather have some mindless titty entertainment, as I am growing sick of talk of wars and family squabbles in poorly lit stone built rooms with Euro accents...just have a mega war and get Thrones over with.

idk about cultural gravity, but i do know that gravity gravity isn't necessarily lena dunham's BFF. maybe when they decide to rehash the wizard of oz again in ~5-10 years for the next generation of kids she can be a natural for the progressively-gender-swapped/neutral role of tweedle dee/dum.
