I've watched more Cubs baseball already this season than the past 5 combined. They looked good last night and Russell is on his way.

Before this goes much further, I just want to point out that thinking a homerun hitting team will hit more in better weather is pretty much common sense.

I understand it works for both teams, but there is some truth in what IMU has said.

Just asked a question, that is all.

Len just can't help himself. Everyone knows an inside the park is a fluke but not Len, who prefaces his color with "that ball would have been out in almost any other park".

not the point

describe the action that is taking place. It is a unique and exciting play. There is no need for hyperbolic conjecture.

Link me to that utility Kirkwood. That is cool.

Also, Hawg, I know you're trying to troll me, but the Cubs were 4-9 RISP. Very unusual for them. You'll score some runs when you're 4-9 RISP. But on the usual days when the Cubs are 2-11 RISP, those long fly balls that get out instead of get caught make a difference.

So just the Cubs get the advantage of warm air, got it.

You're a bad troll. At least be witty.

All teams have power. The Cubs have more power than most. So, the measure the Cubs should find ideal weather beneficial should be larger than other teams. Other teams will be affected as well. But as a manager, would I be more worried about Brantley, Moss, Bourn, Santana and Chisenhall with the wind blowing out or Soler, Rizzo, Bryant, Russell, Fowler, Castro, Montero

With a terrible called third on Soler... just like predicted...
Anyway, Bryant continues to stroke the ball. That was was almost out. He's getting there.

So we can assume he leaves with a tie game, optimistically.
