On behalf of Cub Nation, I'd like to apologize that it took 2 games for Bryant to be awesome.

I think when Olt and/or La Stella get back, Bryant needs more seasoning in Iowa.

Bryant had two hustle plays last night. One when he made it to third but Rizzo got tagged out at home and another with the little league homer.

Clearly another in the long line of Cub BUSTS.. but I will wait for JORR, BRICK, GD, PITTMIKE, AMERICA and The SCOUT to confirm before it's official. FRANK RIP must be spinning in his grave.

I understand that you're trolling, but Bryant has had some chances at third that he's just flat out missed. The defense going forward, particularly in the outfield corners, will be an achilles heel for years to come. They're strong up the middle tho, at the moment.

It is a pretty long line...Baez, Alcantara, Hendricks, Lake, Russell...then you add the free agent busts of Jackson, Lester, Montero, Ross and suddenly the gild starts to fall off that lilly

Or did you not realize your team played last night?

 you're a really bad troll. I have waiting long enough, but you are a BUST for Sox Subdivision. Go back and read some of Brick's and JORR's post to get some more seasoning.

Bryant, Solar, Castro, Rizzo. Russell will not be a bust (It's been one game  ) idiot. Counting Alcantara and Hendrix in that list is stupid, even for you. I could argue that Almora is better then any prospect the White Sox have. WhiteSox fans are a fucking joke. Enjoy losing to the Indians

Yes.

Though, with Robin at the helm, I may not wait that long.

you know, you figure at this point in the year of our lorde 2015 cubs fans might have figured out that god doesn't really like them too much and this is still likely going to end in some kind of unfathomable clusterfuck that includes (but is certainly not limited to) [spoilers]

it's one thing to be the little engine that couldn't for ~107 years or whatever, it's a whole different thing to be prohibitive favorites to rule the universe and have the weight of inexorable expectations on your shoulders. you guys are win.... lol nice typo, in a honeymoon period right now. it's gonna take a whole lot more severed goat heads hanging outside the stadium to ensure this one, that's all i'm gonna say.

I do watch... Monday was exciting first time since 2005 they had that kind of comeback...but why do you put a kid into the pressure cooker last night when you have the big money LOOGY Duke ... Rodon was jacked like any rookie in his first BIG league game... that one was on Robin.

i was raised a cubs fan, i never really had any attachment to it. blame the 90s, blame what you will. when i got into baseball i saw vlad bat and that was it, i had a guy i had a team and it hasn't steered me wrong since. hell they even took my team away from me after a few years because go figure the team i adopted had fans who actually had the stick to stop showing up to arguably the worst ballpark in the majors when shit got unacceptable. i understand these are foreign concepts to cubs fans, although i see that you guys went and nicked our "farm system to baseball" moniker which is pretty cute.

maybe someday i'll change my board name to "everybody's working for the weekend" and we'll finally have something in common.
