This is no mere novelty band. Great rock songs about the greatest sport.

oh holy shit JORR have i got something for you here. let's start by linking it now cuz some board VIPs dont like to go beyond 2 sentences deep with my shit >> http://sinicalypse.kaen.org/csfmb/baseb ... fuckaz.mp3

so my friend used to have a house we all chilled at, eventually he turned the garage into a living quarters which was great for smoking weed. so there was this physical trainer dude kevin down the street and kevin was kind of goofy, you know he'd be the type to come over and go "hey you guys wanna smoke a bowl?" and we'd be like "HELL YEAH DUDE"! and then he'd go "cool.... do you got any weed?"

welp, one day he came over under those auspices but he brought us this.... an indelible piece of suburban chicago americana in convenient rap format. ostensibly it's a song about baseball, but i think there's a bit of a metaphor here. it might be 2deep4u, it might not, i dunno all i know is this is some grade-A wordsmithery here that i have managed to hold on to for years because it's just so damn awesome in its own indelible way.

and before the inevitable joke comes, no, i'm not on this track. i can't bring it like that even on my best day.

Yeah, Len Kasper had Baseball Project at his annual pre-Cubs Convention House of Blues show a couple times back in '09/10? After their first album--Frozen Ropes and Dying Quails. Frozen Ropes & Dying Quails is their first and best record:

Saw Kasper and Brenly hanging out at the LCD Soundsystem stage/show at Lollapalooza a year or two before that.
