It's always the same around here when it comes to opinions on "classic rock." Everybody gets up on their musical high horses. It goes, "I've heard that song too many times therefore it sucks. And you know, they don't play the deep cuts."

Hey, like whatever you like, but you can't honestly believe hating Hotel California is a mainstream opinion. It's just not. You guys are making it seem like The Eagles are Nickelback or something. Maybe the quote of "Man I hate the f**King Eagles" is a mainstream thing because of The Big Lebowski, but the average music listener digs Hotel California. Always have and always will.

Continuing to justify the shoutout.

The average music listener is almost always an idiot.
And hand on the Bible, I've still never seen The Big Lebowski.
I own it on DVD, but it has never been in my player. Not once.

I don't know shit about music. I like pop crap, it doesn't matter what decade. I hate hate hate those songs. I also hate tom petty, red hot chili peppers, and nirvana. I love led zepplins music but fucking hate their songs. It'sa bunch of crap. It's a bunch of look at me music and everybody eats it up. Puke.

I'm less than the average music listener. If I can bop my head to it in the car I'm good. I also love the whole album I can listen to but that is few and far between.

Let's go a little deeper than MMMBop (which is actually a pretty great pop song), or Nickelback slams.
Those are obvious.
How 'bout this steaming pile of shit?

I think Candlebox were from Seattle, but this is like like below Single-A ball in the pantheon of grunge.
This song has no melody, the singer is terrible, and the video just sucks ass.

i don't know the name of the song, but odds are the cranberries made it (i'm trying to be way more inclusive than just going ZOOOOOOMMMMMBBBIIIIEEEEEE ZOM-BEH ZOMBEHBEHBEHBEH)

DISHONOURABLE MENTION: all that she wants is another baby by ace of base

Has to be a contender.

Plant a seed, plant a flower, plant a rose
You can plant any one of those
Keep planting to find out which one grows
It's a secret no one knows

Come on, man! That's a great pop song!

And you left out the best verse:

You have so many relationships in this life
Only one or two will last
You go through all the pain and strife
Then you turn your back and they're gone so fast

The Night Chicago Died by Paper Lace is the worst song of all time.
The music is annoying and the lyrics are offensive.

I also agree on these great nominations

I'll add one more. I fucking hate EMINEM. I don't hate rap / hip-hop, just EMINEM. I will never understand how that whiny-ass bitch voice of stupid has credibility. He's awful.
