if you want to go that route, "win in the end" has to be up there. and "rock until you drop".

I own it on DVD, but it has never been in my player. Not once.

If I made a list of all the movies that everyone on the planet has seen except me, it would be a long list.

You people need some help with actual bad songs.

"Lola" by The Kinks
"Brand New Key" by Melanie
"2525" by Zager & Evans

It's always the same around here when it comes to opinions on "classic rock." Everybody gets up on their musical high horses. It goes, "I've heard that song too many times therefore it sucks. And you know, they don't play the deep cuts."

Hey, like whatever you like, but you can't honestly believe hating Hotel California is a mainstream opinion. It's just not. You guys are making it seem like The Eagles are Nickelback or something. Maybe the quote of "Man I hate the f**King Eagles" is a mainstream thing because of The Big Lebowski, but the average music listener digs Hotel California. Always have and always will.

Well said.

I like Hotel California, American Pie, The Eagles, Matches Malone and country music. Anybody want to go on a cross country trip with me?

"Hey Jude" is terrible, repetitive horseshit. I like Joe Walsh but, yeah, most of The Eagles' stuff is coma-inducing. I hate R.E.M. and "Losing My Religion" is the most pathetic of all their drivel.

You may want to take the shoutout away after this, but "Brand New Key" is great! Great I tell ya! It was used perfectly in "Boogie Nights" to accompany Roller Girl.

Maybe I'm just a sucker for 60/70's pop music. I've also been listening to "My Green Tambourine" by The Lemon Pipers non-stop the last few days.

del Amitri is a great band, and Roll To Me always reminds of a Friends-esque TV theme song.
I like it, but they have a BUNCH of other songs in their catalog that I truly love.

Rock On by David Essex
fucking sucks ass. Even Billy Corgan couldn't turn that shit into shinola.

Poppycock. Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We? is a fine album. It annoyed me when "Dreams" was co-opted for an insurance commercial.
