How does fucknut Ventura, the guy who will call a bunt or steal in any situation, not bunt Cabrera with no outs and a man on second in extra innings?

Yea that was puzzling. You have Abreu after Cabrera, if there is one guy on this team who can drive a runner in from 3rd with 1 out...

Avi started on fire. There must be a book developing or something. He's batting .200 in his last 7 games.

He's swinging at everything, high/low/outside/inside my man Avi just hacks. He's amped.

I got a crazy idea. Maybe switch up the lineup. I know I know, very radical thought...

Abreu
Abreu in a mustache
Abreu in a yellow hat
Abreu dressed as Hawk Harrellson circa 1972
Abreu in drag
Abreu dressed as Bobby Abreu
Abreu in the shorts the Sox wore for one game
Abreu as Andy the Clown
Abreu in blue shorts laying in a baseball glove chair

And Ventura would STILL bunt way too much

so smarja gonna be suspended? gives rodon a chance at the rotation. though from what I saw his first time out I'm a little terrified by what that might look like.

Quote:
Chris Sale was in the middle of the fracas/melee/brouhaha last night between the Royals and White Sox, and was one of five players ejected from the game. Sale had hit the Royals’ Mike Moustakas with a pitch up and in a few innings earlier, and so he was a little testy (along with fellow starter Jeff Samardzija) when the situation escalated after Yordano Ventura’s stare-down and exchange with Adam Eaton.

That fighting spirit may have carried over after the ejection.

Bukaty works for 810 Sports Radio in Kansas City, and has worked on Royals’ broadcasts (and also on the Sporting KC broadcasts this year).

Something similar was rumored last night on Reddit. Less than a half-hour after the brawl ended, and before the game was even over, there was reference that Sale had tried to get into the visitor’s clubhouse.

Let’s get our heads together, guys. Yordano Ventura is the Royals’ best starting pitcher. He needs to be in the games and not suspended. Chris Sale is the ace of the White Sox staff, and being in the middle of a brawl to the point of being one of the players ejected, and then, maybe, being dumb enough to go after players after that, is stupid. Like, it doesn’t even register on a scale of 1 to 10 on the dumbness scale. It’s probably a number higher than the number of wins the Knicks had this year. Just sayin’, Mr. Sale.

Looks like Joe Torre will be busy sorting through all the silliness with this one.

ventura has no damn control of the sox.

So now their number 1 and 2 will more than likely be aspended for a couple starts each over this. Someone get Phillip Humber on the phone.

A couple? Five games suspensions, at most. One will appeal while the other serves so that they are not concurrent and Rodon will get two starts.

another crazy idea: let Abreu DH once in a while. you know, minimize the wear and tear on his body, give him a rest, PUT A BETTER DEFENDER in the field.
