CH, just like you I also have NHL Gamecenter and I want to put my fist through my TV at times due to the lack of give a shit this team has at times. We're not as dominant as the last couple of seasons but enjoy the ride. You were a diehard fan during the dark years, just enjoy this moment and hope for the best. You're allowed to freak out all the time, I do as well, just enjoy we are here though because I get the impression you don't more times than not.

There's a lot of talent on that team. They'll be trouble down the road the better Seth Jones gets. Nashville and Winnipeg are the future. Chicago and most likely St. Louis are going to be the past.

Last year it was going to be the Avs, they were going to be the future.

Versteeg has to go, and either Timonen or Rozsival as well. I can't take much more. Kyle Cumiskey is a tweener, but at least he's a tweener with fresh legs. Our roster has become way too thin to keep up.

Rooting for St. Louis tomorrow and Minnesota in game 7.

Go take a long walk off a short pier. Versteeg is playing with heart, true he may be letting his emotions get in the way sometimes but he is stepping up and doing things the big tought guys on the team are not and that is taking it to a physical level. He is playing like he is a seven foot 400 pound goon. every time I see someone taking a run at Kaner or even Hoss and he is on the ice he is in the thick ofit unlike most of the rest ofthe team.
You keep on talking about the hawks playing physical yet when guys do you crawl all overt them. Dude you are like the guy who has a chicken that lays golden eggs and complains when it lays a silver one. So you know what fuck off man , tell yah what do the section a favor and whenever the Hawks win a round for 24 hours you shut the fuck up.

The Predators' season is over in a first-round loss to the Blackhawks. They lost 18 of their last 25 games.

I wonder if he had to pay $180 to uncover that ...

Better hope this other series goes all seven. Lot of hard miles on Keith already.

Well, now I believe the Wild win it tomorrow.

You better check under the bed for monsters!

No, the line on the Avs was always that their lack of defensemen and defensive sensibilities in general were going to catch up to them and set them up for a huge regression, which, ta-da, happened. They don't get to rejoin even the peripheries of the conversation until they have one, one better defenseman than Tyson Barrie. Same with Dallas, who have more scoring but are even shittier past the forwards than the Avs are. The Jets have top prospects at defense and goaltender and they play the punishing north-south style that works in today's new dead-puck era. They're built to last. The Blues' window just might close if they don't reload correctly, Tarasenko's greatness notwithstanding.

You shitheads are outta your damn fool minds. The Perds were without their perernnial Norris candidate defensemen for the last 4 games. They were a coinflip away from bouncing the Hawks out of the playoffs.

I don't think today's parity is going to allow for anyone to have any sort of sustained run on the level of four third rounds in six years, but Nashville probably has a better chance. I'm not 100-percent sure that Laviolette is the guy to take them there just because of what a poor tactician he is, but bigger doofuses than Purple Pete have won Cups since the lockout, not to mention the man himself in '06.

The Hawks outshot the Perds 1 out of 6 games. Once!

A team with 2.5 forwards outshot the Hawks 5 out of 6 games.

Playing the Blues is the Hawks only hope to advance to the WCF.

The Preds lost 4 games to 2 to the Hawks. You call that being a coin flip away from winning the series?
Come on Man...
And the Preds sucked ass the last few weks of the regular season with Weber in the lineup.

Tarasenko has single-handedly carried the deadass Blues to two victories. American Hero Oshie has been invisible. What a coincidence that he's been largely useless in a format where shootouts don't exist.

Both the Preds and the Blues are really good at one thing...choking in the playoffs.

Some examples of past statements regarding the Avs...you are really going to deny you were talking them up?

The Hawks got their asses handed to them twice. The Preds then lost two multi-OT games.

It appears Suter and Pietrangelo are still skating for the Wild and Blues so the Hawks can't count on Norris defensemen missing games in future rounds.

I'm made to understand (and no I'm not fact-checking it) that in game 1 and game 5:

- Blackhawks goalie is pulled after giving up three goals on twelve shots;
- The relief goalie has a perfect performance the rest of the way;
- Duncan Keith scores the GWG

I feel like he is how I was with the Bears. I'd wait for that shoe to drop. I was fine when it didn't but knew it was going to at some point. I don't know why, I give them the benefit of the doubt but I get mad at them just the same.

Scorehead wrote:

They are lazy and sloppy at times. Inconsistent. They are getting old and can't turn it on when they feel like it anymore. Every year teams will have a better chance at beating them for different reasons.

They change every couple years and not for the better. Less talent, less hustle, age, are all factors. They shoulda won last year but didn't.

I don't understand the Toews hate but everybody has somebody. I know what Kane does and how valuable he is but I feel like he doesn't do stuff a lot. It pisses me off and I criticize him because of it.
