Do the Cubs finally have an offense capable of scoring in all different kinds of weather?

I mean I don't think power is going to be an issue on this team and right now they're doing a lot of good things without the longball. They're stringing together hits, getting on base and running smart.

That will come in handy on nights like tonight when Wrigley plays small

Its way early but I like the way this offense is working out

You can't help but be excited. I'm sure some of it is us being overjoyed that the team is finally competitive, but I think Theo & Co. can identify and evaluate offensive players. Take a look at that 2 through 6 in the order. Not an easy out in the bunch. None of them are over-swinging or being impatient. It's a long, long season, but what are the odds of all of them going into a prolonged slump?

I came into this campaign with my usual Cub optimism, but after seeing this club up close and everyday, I really believe we're going to be in this thing right down to the wire. Even if the pitching struggles, I still feel like we can slug our way through it. Fun times ahead for us long suffering fans.

I'm struggling to remember a Cubs home run in Wrigley this season?

Soler had two in one game at Wrigley!

Though that seems like ages ago given his recent struggles

2 by Soler, 2 by Montero, Coghlan and Rizzo off the top of my head.

and end up out of it by two games, which was predicted by the often ridiculed but ultimately highly valid Bryant-Would-Have-Made-A-Difference-O-Meter

Im just loving the patient approach. It feels like Rizzo and Bryant start every count at 2-0
