This has been poorly handled. You really can't cancel 2 straight games.

I hope they keep the field mics on. We'll be able to hear everything the players are saying. Hell we'll be able to hear the catcher fart on the ump after a bad call. That would be awesome.

That was low hanging fruit. I had to smack it.

2005. I know. I get it.

Was the first thing I thought of when they announced it...lol....ITS A HOME GAME!

I actually was surprised to see only 23K out at Sundays game, did look like many more than that.....

This is crazy. Reminiscent of The Rick vs Mankind in an empty arena during halftime of Super Bowl

The Sox start Samardzija today and then should have him start his suspension. Start Sale tomorrow and then afterwards have him start his suspension.

Plug in Rodon for one start say Saturday then have Danks, Noesi and Quintana pitch. Samardzija and Sale come back against Detroit having both served their suspensions. They basically don't miss a start and both are well rested for Detroit.

You can hear Thorne doing the O's broadcast, this is so odd.

Hawk or Stoney need to turn the volume off on their phone. You can hear them getting text messages.

Not being able to turn a double play is a serious problem. It always leads to runs.

The home call is what's on my stream (hey buddy), and he said he could hear Stoney "complaining" (in fun) about how loud he was talking, and that he would now talk louder still.

Shark doing well .....

This is one of the weirdest things I've ever seen in baseball. Or any pro sport.

Agreed. It's like a private full teams exhibition.

Maybe Sam Zell bought out the stadium for his birthday? Did The Eagles sing the anthem by any chance?

So when they eliminate all the fan bullshit and just play the game it took about 2 hours and 10 minutes. But eliminating the shift is a good idea too. Idiots.

I believe it has more to do with the Sox offense being a dumpster of free-swinging shit that can't work a count or generate any hits/walks.
