That "take the best player available" philosophy is BS this early in the draft. Filling a position of need with a presumed stud is more important than taking a guy ranked 1 position higher on a draft board.

I was hoping Teddy would grab the Texas DT Malcolm Brown. I was initally confused by the Damarius Randall pick as analysts had him slotted as a safety. Looks like Ted has him penciled in as a corner. Supposedly he's an ace man-to-man guy.

We'll see but Ted hasn't knocked a homer in the 1st since 2010 with Bulaga. Ha-Ha looks good but too early to know.

Are you talking about La'el Collins? I'd avoid him and Gregory. They've been on a mission to rid themselves of distractions. There will be other players there to make an impact.

Agreed. There is just way too much talent sitting there right now in the second round to reach. Third might be a different situation.

I think they go DT with Goldman but your guy Mc Kinney is a good call as well
