yeah on IRC ppl were talking about streams regularly lagging/dying and the whole 9 yards. like i said during big events like this you'll get DDOS (direct denial of service) squads out there prolly on the payroll of [broadcasting co] throwing mad bandwith at the big ones like vipbox/firstrowsports/atdhe so like i said always have a backup or two or five if you're gonna go that route cuz sheeeeeeeeeit. it aint like DDOSing some streaming site is gonna stop anyone, but it will at least fuck them up a bit. i always likened DDOSing to a petulant child throwing all their bandwith at someone in the hopes of getting noticed and at least giving a little WHAP with a middle finger response, so there was definitely some of that going on tonight. hope y'all made it through!
