Literally the #1 movie in the world right now & it hasn't even gotten released here yet. Even though I already know what's going to happen & I've probably have seen the movie in every released promo/clip, I'm still superjacked to catch this next weekend.

Here's a good one where two characters meet a third character for the first time (mandatory spoiler alert): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1zGFZzvdsJ0

Saw it in a nearly packed house last night. Enjoyed it as much as the first one. There seemed to be a lot more comedic moments written in to this one, as it seemed like the crowd laughed at least every couple minutes.

Was really surprised by how much I liked the new characters...Vision was great, as was the Scarlet Witch.

Looking forward to seeing it at least a few more times.

I saw it today & loved it. Very fast paced & a shitload of action. I also liked the new characters a lot. I can't wait to see what happens on AoS because of things that may have come to light possibly in this movie involving an alleged formerly caucasian character who's name I won't give. :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Thanks for the reviews. I'll probably see it on Monday. To be honest,it just looks like more of the same shit but I'm hoping it's different.

If you watched AoS this week Coulson let it slip. He even said,"Opps,Spoiler alert"
I will say this Elisabeth is the best looking of the Olsen sisters.
Kinda sad ending but some kind cool cameos. The HulkBuster Armor is worth the price of admission alone.Lot of character growth esp from the minor characters,ie non god like power people. In fact Hawkeye gives the best speech in the movie, far better than Capts IMHO. Now if they do like Downey suggested and treat the characters like James bond and just insert new characters in the roles instead of rebooting every few years will be interesting to see who they go with. Still too close for me to pick anyone for the roles right now.

I loved the look on Gunzales' Pepperoni-complexioned face when he said that. The motherfucker didn't expect that.

Seeing the commercials for AoS this week tells me they are going to focus more on the Inhumans, & not so much about the going ons within SHIELD. That might be for the two-part finale.

I saw it yesterday and enjoyed it. I don't read the comics and know nothing of the backstory or where it is going. I take it for what it is. So there is an Avengers 2.0 without Hulk or Ironman and lead by Cap and Romanov?

They didn't fully explain the red guy. Who is it? What is it? He would seem to have all the power necessary to protect the world. Why would you need any other superheroes?

What happened to the story of that guy at the end of the last movie standing at the pyramids that everyone seemed so excited about. Now we get some purple guy.

The Avengers is a constantly evolving team. Members come and go. While you may not be an active member you are always basically "onccall" sort of like a Marine.

The Android is the Vision. He is extremely powerful as shown but he does have limitations. They just have not shown them fully. He is Solar powered.

Are you talking about the after credits scene in the first Avengers? It's the same guy, Thanos. His quest for the infinity stones is at the center of this universe, and will be the ultimate "big bad" the Avengers fight in the 2 part Avengers 3 movies.

Yes, the after credits guy standing at the pyramids.

The purple guy in the post credits of this movie is the same as the post credits guy from the last movie? I didn't think they looked the same

Yes, same guy. In the first Avengers, you don't really see him until the last second when he turns his face.

He's also a villain in Guardians of the Galaxy too (Josh Brolin plays him).

No, he's talking about Apocalypse @ the end of the last X-Men movie. They are two unrelated things, GD.

Whoops, my bad. Correct, he's the main villain in the next X-Men movie.

Unrelated universes, unfortunately.

I get all of these comic book movies crossed. Imagine my confusion when I heard Guardians of the Galaxy was a comic book adaptation and had some relation to Avengers

Was underwhelmed by A2, the Hulkbuster fight was the only thing barely memorable other than the cliched action shots where I had to stifle derisive laughter. I don't think it had a chance of being as good as GotG, but I was hoping it would be at least as good as Cap 2, but no. Good news is I bet it's better than Antman.

I'm just going to throw this down and if you like it pick it up: Cobie Smulders is hotter than Scarlett Johanson and it isn't even close

Saw it last night and didn't really care for it. Too over-the-top with CGI and not much of a plot. Cast seemed to be going through the motions. The original Iron Man was 10x the movie this is.

I just saw it and thought it was going pretty well until the second half of the movie. Too much CGI and a hard to follow plot. I think the plot was Ultron needs vibranium to create a better self image and then he want's to make mankind extinct. The action shots with the quick editing and repetitive slamming bad guys around gets old. I don't think it was terrible but 2.5 stars seems fair.

The opening fight scene CGI was atrocious, specifically Thor. He looked like Plasticman in some shots. That was the only scene that I thought the CGI was noticeably bad in though, wonder why that was.

i, too, was underwhelmed. while i appreciate whedon's touch of humor and humanity, it gets lost in a big whirlwind of CGI explosions (who gets stuck with the reconstruction bills for that city btw?). i also found ultron to be a bit much with the goofiness at times. i love james spader and i get what whedon was doing but sometimes it's like...tone down the fanboygasm just a tad.

it wasn't entirely displeasing or disappointing...some of it was very funny and entertaining. but i actually thought the most intriguing and disturbing thing going on was tony stark's vision of the avengers' death. those weird robot creature things were mesmerizing.

:D :D out of :D :D :D :D

The big evil whale-type things flying in space? They were in the first movie, Hulk punches one right in the god damn face.
