How about they hire someone with some goddamn experience for a change.
Course, managers mean almost nothing to the outcome of a season according to a certain dude.

Should be, wont be and is a complete FUCK YOU to the few and remaining fans, as it shows that winning is NOT the priority...the priority is Jerry keeping his buddies. Robin would have NEVER got an extension with almst every other team....

Ozzie redux or Paul Konerko. Maybe Harold Baines to ride out the rest of the year. Someone in the family.

I'm not the biggest Ozzie fan, but I think he could get this team going in the right direction. There seems to have been a mending of fences too. This wouldn't surprise me at all.

And look, I don't really think it's Ventura's fault that this team is playing dead ass baseball, but there's no one else you can practically lay the blame upon. There's too much talent on the roster for them to be this bad. And make no mistake, this team is bad.

Ozzie and kenny will never mend the fences because they both want it their way. They can coexist in a room now, but if Jerry brings back Ozzie and leaves Kenny in this complete bullshit role he is operating in, you know the result.

What a soap opera.

To bad because Ozzie would wake up what seems to be a dead ass underachieving team.

Its a soap opera because they choose to make it a soap opera...

Where is the outrage from Sox fans about it being about winning and baseball? Its never about that...its about Jerry and who he likes to hang out with first, then if they win, great.

The White Sox have the second-worst record in #MLB since the start of 2013, ahead of only the (now-first place) Astros.

Wow...that's taking the Reinsdorf obsession to new levels.

Practically is the operative word. Are you suggesting cutting any or all of those guys?

The manager does not matter. I recall that being said on this board. Recently as a matter of fact.

....but it s correct....give me any other team in any other sport where the owner hangs out with the trainer, the groundskeeper and the pitching coach? they are part of the White Sox family....which is the biggest joke going right now as the "family" has now taken precedent over the team winning....the example of this is about as clear as it has ever been.

The Edmonton Oilers had been like that for a long time (they finally wised up like, seriously, last week). They've been the worst team in the league over the last five years, maybe more.

Sadly the Sox will continue this until Jerry sells or passes away. Dollar Bill Wirtz Blackhawks all over again.

What are you saying? Who is the manager out there who can make this bad Sox team win?

I'm glad we agree. I'm sure you don't think this is a championship White Sox team regardless of who is managing it.

they just need somebody to yell at them. I know I always work better when my boss yells at me.

Yes for once we are in agreement. I do not think any manager could help this dead ass bunch right now. But a new voice might spark a fire that they do not seem to have. I thought they would be better than this. They fucking blow.

We agree again. But that isn't an indictment of Ventura. And it doesn't make him "bad" or "good". Most people would consider Guillen "better" than Ventura, but they forget that Ventura took the same shitty team that quit on Ozzie in 2011 and almost won with it in 2012. But I suppose some people would say the 2011 team outplayed its numbers and the 2012 team underperformed. Who knows if any of that had anything to do with the manager? It's not real science.

Anyway, the only thing you can do is fire Ventura. You can't fire Samardzija and Danks.

Sorry for blank post . No idea how that happened. We agree again. You pretty much have to launch Robin at this point. New voice in clubhouse probably helps for a short term fix but this team lacks in so many areas.

Why can't you fire / release Danks and Samardzija just like Ventura?

So maybe Robin isn't the problem.

Can someone make a case for why he is the solution?
