At some point, it has to fall back on the manager with this team.

Adam Laroche has been Adam Dunn 2.0 yet he finds a way into the lineup daily.

Alexei is having his normal great April yet he plays daily.

On the pitching side,it's time to stop the BS with Danks and Noesi and get Rodon into the rotation. This team is going nowhere so get him innings now.

No maybe about it.....

You have been lied to by Kenny

KHANED by Rick

but as I said before "The fish stinks from the head"

Robin is the sacrificial lamb.

Rodon is on an innings count this year. He will be shut down in late August if he starts now. I would hope they have a plan for the date he will enter the rotation.

Robin is not the problem and he's not the answer. Maybe a different manager would a help a little, but it wouldn't enough to fix the basic problems that still faces this team
1) they are defensively awful
2) Starting pitching 1-5 is average at best and playing under that to date.
3) they can't run the bases

I still don't believe Detroit is good enough to win the WS based on pitching and defense, but they're good enough to handle the rest of the division. KC is a legit team that IS good enough to get into playoffs and win the World Series. MN seems to have found something, but I think I don't think they'll be good enough. Cleveland is Cleveland and still sucks.

This team is just not good. It does start at the top with GM...and yes, that's on Jerry for clearly having people in charge that cannot assemble a collection of good baseball players.

you can't do jack squat after having the worst farm system for a decade. decades? JR's penny pinching and short-sightedness is to blame for that.

I had them for 83 wins assuming everyone would be about on projection. Instead, 80% of them are below projection.

They've about hit rock bottom now so it'll be interesting to see how they'll respond. They can play worse than this, but its unlikely.

I dont think they will climb back into the race so let him get his starts now.

The money they are paying Laroche is the reason he's in the lineup. They would have better off keeping Tank for a lot less money.

Keeping Rodon's innings pitched to a lower number is why he is not in the rotation. They want him around 140 IP. If they put him in the rotation now, they would probably have to shut him down in mid-late August. I think that would be a better idea, but the Sox do not. So they will continue for a while with a rotation that is struggling.

I have never thought Ventura was a good manager. I would re-hire Ozzie before giving the job to anyone else. He's a good manager, would light a fire under this team and if Steinbrenner could hire and fire Billy Martin multiple times, why not Ozzie here in Chicago?

Sitting your best players is not a good idea. People said Robin should bench Adam Eaton. Well they got their wish as he didn't play the last 3 games. How did that work out? Good? Did they play better baseball? Did they score more runs? Of course not. Sitting your best players is not the answer. Your best players playing like they're the best players is the answer and the only way they can do that is if they play.

It's funny how everyone said Hahn had the best off season in all of MLB and now he's a bum.

WTF?

Clearly this team is underachieving and if JR cares about winning (a major question mark) then you swing the axe.

And bringing in Ozzie would be the jolt that may do the job (but he'd probably want 3 years & 15M!) - lol!

Or go get Ron Gardenhire.

It was amusing hearing people talk about how great Hahn's off season was. Adam laroche n the shark are doing exactly what I expected..neither are very good..Adam Eaton is a reed Johnson..not somebody ya build around.

Outside of sale n abreu ..there's not much there...robin has never looked like a good manager..but he hasn't had a whole lot to work with.

I expect harrelson to talk out of ass n say stupid shit, Some other Sox fans were pleased with samardiza n laroche. I thought they would win 80 games n be sellers by July.

Quintana.

I am still saying I would be surprised...its a 100-1 shot, but then again Robin was 1,000-1.
