Got my 7 mnutes of bernstein for the month...bragging about the many miles he drives to get his kid from one sport to the next, changing in the car...etc

Gotta ask, Parents of today....why? Do you think your kid is that great of an athlete that you love to brag about how he plays mutiple sports in one day? Because the ones who I think will even make a HS team is about 1 out of 100 of the ones I have seen play baseball, hockey or basketball.

FYI, It is almost never the kid who is really good at age 10 who becomes the best player of the group.

And Baseball wise, the kids who usually gets to a high level of playing has a batting cage in his backyard...or inside the house...if you have the space.

Our son said he wanted to play baseball this year. He took last year off. I could care less if he ever wants to play another sport.

I was hoping he was going to stick with the guitar but he's not playing right now. He's moved on to the piano for now. He's 8 so I'm hoping he will get back into the guitar at some point.
