Just a awful series by the Cubs. The first 2 games should have been wins. Now they're being shutout by a guy who hasn't been worth a damn in years. The bullpen is a huge suckfest. Would still like them to deal for another solid starter. The rotation isn't giving them innings, and I don't see it getting any better for Wood and Hendricks. For the offense, I'm glad Russell is starting to get it going. Would be nice to see Bryant hit a home run sometime soon. Rizzo is just ridiculous right now. Soler needs to cut down the strikeouts, and start hitting some bombs.

WTF is going on with that? I turned the game on in the car and Hughes said "he threw it right by him" ??? It's John Fucking Lackey, not J.R. Richard.

If it was J.R. Richard then we would have something.

And he was smoking the guys in AAA throwing 93. Haven't really seen it since he was called up.

I'll give credit to the Cardinals for taking many pitchers over the years, who were decent pitchers elsewhere, and making them much better once acquired. Lackey was a serviceable starter for many years, but a 3-4 in the rotation for the most part. He's been outstanding with St Louis though. Credit where it's due.

You mean exactly what the Cubs have done?

This can be my sentiment now that he's off the Cardinals! Hated him before he got there. Just hated him less when he was pitching so well. But, yeah, fuck him again.
