Wow,the lack of HR production is startling. I never dreamed after this long,he wouldn't have one at least.

I picture them coming in bunches for this guy pretty soon.

Here are my ratings on Theo's youth brigade,so far:

Bryant: Still get's a solid B
Russell: A
Soler: C+
Baez: F-The fact he couldn't make the club was a huge disappointment.
Hendricks: D+-Hopefully,he's not a flash in the pan.
Alcantara: D-

Giving AAAlcantara a D- is pretty generous.

You care to rate Rizzo? It was their initial move and seems to be working out well. They also gave Castro a big extension, which is looking like a great move.

Baez is not really a Theo guy, but hopefully he will have some value.

Might want to add Arrieta too.....

Padres/Red Sox developed him. If you're gonna shove Baez/Alcantara on Hendry's ledger Theo cant go along taking credit for Rizzo.

After today every single one of the Cubs' call ups has had a K-rate over 30%.

He traded for him. I am not talking about development, but rather astute moves.

Grading a bunch of rookies after one month? Really? Or is this just a conversation starter?

The only one I'm comfortable saying he's going to suck is Baez. I don't think he's ever going to get it.

I worry for America's health. I'm not sure I've seen anyone more into anything than he is when it comes to talking about the Cubs.

He makes Ike's pot obsession look like a weekend fling.

Look at the pitches he's getting and where they are. He's OPS'ing over 800 and taking a ton of walks. His approach at the plate has been good and hasn't look overmatched short of Game 1.

I give the Bears a solid B.

Another Safety or LB instead of a RB would have graded them higher

Clearly they brought him up too early. Thank God we didn't have to put up with this shit for the first couple of weeks or so.

Don't hear a lot of squawking from the "Bryant should have made the team" crowd much anymore.

I knew Bryant would suck the same way I knew Alcantara and Baez would suck, I'm pretty sure Addison Russell sucks too and the Cubs got Beane'd.

It was just a fun way to talk some shit for a couple weeks.

Jed traded for him while in SD, then traded for him again here. Rizzo is the absolute cornerstone of everything they have tried to do and should be judged with that taken into account...he has taken the role on as good as ANY player ever have with almost any team. He is the clear cut leader of this team in every way. he is our CAPTAIN ATTITUDE!!!!!!!

You're just salty balls because you didn't hit the "Submit" button fast enough and JP beat you to the punch.

Jimmy gets excited sometimes about the Cubs and his new ticker cant take it, so he needs to bum himself out a little. Any negative comments keep him going ....

of course if he keeps trying to hold back...then if they do win it, he might really be in for an "Elizabeth, I am coming to join ya honey!"

What is really amazing is that people still respond to America's posts. He is nothing more than a troll.
