Baez: F-The fact he couldn't make the club was a huge disappointment.
Hendricks: D+-Hopefully,he's not a flash in the pan.

You care to rate Rizzo? It was their initial move and seems to be working out well. They also gave Castro a big extension, which is looking like a great move.

Baez is not really a Theo guy, but hopefully he will have some value.

I worry for America's health. I'm not sure I've seen anyone more into anything than he is when it comes to talking about the Cubs.

He makes Ike's pot obsession look like a weekend fling.


Look at the pitches he's getting and where they are. He's OPS'ing over 800 and taking a ton of walks. His approach at the plate has been good and hasn't look overmatched short of Game 1.

Don't hear a lot of squawking from the "Bryant should have made the team" crowd much anymore.

I knew Bryant would suck the same way I knew Alcantara and Baez would suck, I'm pretty sure Addison Russell sucks too and the Cubs got Beane'd.

It was just a fun way to talk some shit for a couple weeks.

Jed traded for him while in SD, then traded for him again here. Rizzo is the absolute cornerstone of everything they have tried to do and should be judged with that taken into account...he has taken the role on as good as ANY player ever have with almost any team.
