It would actually be the smart business move for Zimmerman not to even bid on the Sox. WBBM does very well without a baseball team. So you move the Cubs to the SCORE and help out both of your stations. Don't need the Sox.

Maybe it's one of those things where Zim has his price and won't go above it. If somebody beats him, they beat him. He won't lose sleep over it.

But I wouldn't even bid.
