I'm over here laughing my ass off listening to JG this afternoon.kids wanted to mess back in the day and they had to get that ass beat haha. Good thing me and Jay weren't at the same elementary school or we would have shut that place down, y'all. Totally relate to Jay on this one- growing up in the hood, sometimes kids would try to bust on the Lantern ring or the ATCQ shirt and they had get a lil playground justice.

Love it...kids got shook by Jay. Anyone think a similar segment on the 6-10 show should be done? Let's goooooooo!

Goff grew up in Evanston. So you can't relate.

i got pushed into a urinal in 5th grade once

but the only other 'fights' i got in were in 2nd and 3rd grade and i was the instigator and ass beater.... nothing serious and nobody ran and told the teachers so nothing happened except really awkward relationships the rest of my grade school life

I don't know how much more of Goff's clapping and console-pounding I can take. Make your points; no need to yell, clap, and pound the console. It's nearly Mully-level irritating.

Goff's b-ball acumen is wanting, IMO. Not much of what he says impresses me. He's been saying all along "this is what a seven game series looks like!" I thought from the outset this looked like a 5, maybe 6 game series. Did he not watch the prior series? The 82 regular season games? What was impressive about this squad. Nothing. They were just a pretty good team. Cavs are just a pretty good team too, sure, but at least they have LeBron James. What offsets that advantage on the Bulls? Fucking nothing.

Now he has the gall to come in and say "maybe we were all fooled." Speak for yourself. You were fooled. I never thought the Bulls were winning this series. They showed you really clearly what they were in that Bucks series. They confirmed they had no gear beyond their play in the regular season. Any question about whether they were saving their best for the playoffs was answered loud and clear in that series.

Did he pound the console for emphasis when he was making these points?

Goff's main thing today is the Bulls need better players. Thanks for that expert analysis.

Been listening for about 15 minutes now. Has Goff always mumbled and talked under his breath when callers are on the phone trying to make a point?
I find it very distracting.

whenever someone wants to come off as the know-it-all, it's customary to talk down to whomever you're speaking to while talking over them as well. that's very score-like.

there were bulls fans on this board who thought they would take the series. i don't think anybody was "fooled". this is simply a team that was missing one of its best players and had no answer for the other team's best player. it's pretty simple math.

If he is going to do it then cover the mic or something. I don't remember hearing it from Lawrence but don't doubt he does it. I will be in the car tonight so if he is on I will
listen for it.

Tad Queasy being mister internet tough guy...wouldn't say any of that to any member of the A-team because he knows exactly how that would go down.

Sometimes you gotta talk over a caller because what they are saying is so off-the-wall that it's all you can do to not verbally slap them upside the head.

1. Whoa...might have to notify the authorities...

2. Would there be a difference if he said to a member of the "A-Team" or should he be concerned only if he said it to a member of the "Full-Fledged A-Team"? Just curious...

That makes him weak and unlistenable. Its not how civilized, intelligent, nor articulate people speak. Unless you're around a bunch of brothers yelling and swilling brown liquor.

Goff isn't even talking over the caller. He is mumbling under his breath as if working on his retort. The problem with him doing this is I can't understand what he or the
caller is saying. He is doing it within earshot of the mic and isn't directed to anyone specifically. I've heard him do this many times.

Evanston is like Englewood compared to Wheaton, which is where Herb grew up.
