The coc chat is more fluid and easier to interact. It works great during games where there is no delay in response or multiple threads. Quite simply it is an easier mode of communication for a small group like CSFMB.

A lot going on here, some of the behind the curtain stuff in front of the curtain. A LOT of people puffing their chests out.

Isn't anyone entitled to being able to "outgrow" the board? I'm not saying that is what anyone is doing, because I honestly don't know and RPB and Rick are adamant that they aren't protesting the board or anything like that.

But this board has lost countless posters over the years, and most have claimed they just got tired of the board for this reason or the next. While I still post here a lot, I don't find it as engaging as I used to, but it is still the best place I know for (mostly) engaging sports talk.

I don't think anyone posting less is ever "BS". The COC chat is fun, and it is easier to talk about a game than the forum. The few chats I opened for the Cubs / Bulls weeks ago reflected this. If Rick and RPB feel like they have a better time "posting" there than here, more power to them? Again, not saying that is the case...but this forum isn't able to decide when and how people interact.

But, hypothetically if someone wasn't posting and the reason was protest, why does it bother you? People aren't required to like the people you like or deal with things that offends their sensibilities. If anyone has a problem with bigfan, or the way the board is run, or the majority of personalities on the board...why should they continue posting here?
