And when someone who averages over 25 posts a day for like 7 years decides to only post "here and there", along with his other crew buddies, it is a little bit of BS, whether you want to agree or not.

The coc chat is more fluid and easier to interact. It works great during games where there is no delay in response or multiple threads. Quite simply it is an easier mode of communication for a small group like CSFMB.

Isn't anyone entitled to being able to "outgrow" the board? I'm not saying that is what anyone is doing, because I honestly don't know and RPB and Rick are adamant that they aren't protesting the board or anything like that.

But this board has lost countless posters over the years, and most have claimed they just got tired of the board for this reason or the next. While I still post here a lot, I don't find it as engaging as I used to, but it is still the best place I know for (mostly) engaging sports talk.

I don't think anyone posting less is ever "BS". The COC chat is fun, and it is easier to talk about a game than the forum. The few chats I opened for the Cubs / Bulls weeks ago reflected this. If Rick and RPB feel like they have a better time "posting" there than here, more power to them? Again, not saying that is the case...but this forum isn't able to decide when and how people interact.

My ire is at anyone who's not posting as some kind of protest, that's all I'm saying.

If so, that's really shitty.

So...I believe you should have zero ire.

But, hypothetically if someone wasn't posting and the reason was protest, why does it bother you? People aren't required to like the people you like or deal with things that offends their sensibilities. If anyone has a problem with bigfan, or the way the board is run, or the majority of personalities on the board...why should they continue posting here?

If you stub your toe on the leg of a chair, do you continue doing it over and over hoping it won't hurt the next time?

You're my guy, but I think you're off-base on this one.

Agree to disagree. The board's better when everyone's involved. That's the main point I guess I'm trying to make in the end, which is not coming across eloquently

Put all of the protesting and CoCblocking to the side.

And RPB can't be the same guy who didn't take too kindly to being left out of the MSFMB and then turn around and not post here.

there used to be a time where members would hunt down wayward posters to see if they still resided in the land of the living

I don't really care either way but it is a misnomer to call most of this movement boycotting or "growing out of it" as people are doing the same thing with the same people in a slightly different forum.

I find it strange that Brick, of all people, would run to a community with less conflict.
